Korean vs japanese drama series in the philippines

Korean,japanese,taiwanese dramas has invaded phil drama since meteor garden. It opened the doors for other culture to enter philippines. I remember it used to be just mexican dramas. What asian drama series do you prefer and why? I personally like watching korean drama as well as japanese drama series.

I am not a drama fan, more like a sitcom fan, but I do admit having watched some Korean, Japanese, and Filipino drama series on Television and on computer via downloaded videos. I prefer watching sitcom still and after watching the whole series of city hunter with English subtitles for several days straight, I decided not to watch any more drama series.

hahaha!!! yes sometimes these kind of entertainment can give you stress than be a stress reliever. It can also give you eyebags, darken sadako eyes if you watch it non stop :P

Th's one reason I hate watching Filipino Drama series on Television, it's like every scene only includes arising problems after problems. I wonder how the masses get to like this type of series when they have enough problems by themselves. I miss the days when there where Filipino sitcoms. They just wont make this anymore, that is why I love "Loko moko high", though some jokes are corny, most of them are really hilarious. Helps lighten up your mood.

for me, filipinos like to watch korean and japanese dramas because the actors and actress have white and flawless skin. Well thats my opinion =D

Yes, point taken . Another thing is that, lesser drama and you can watch it non stop . I hate waiting for the next episode in the tv. In Filipino drama series, its a do or die conflicts. And I do not want that, I dont want to shred so much tears and ruin my face the next day. Thanks for the post.
