Ok before i start, i placed this under this interest since i cannot find any other interest that fits this one.. there is also no interest that says weirdness. Anyways, i just brought a correction tape this morning. I ripped it off the cover and saw a word that is sooooo not supposed to be in a correction tape. the word is SATAN. Why would it be in a correction tape cover? weird huh? it is one of those china made stuff.. i brought it since it is cheap. Well, i did brought it and i took the correction tape..and guess what? saw the word SATAN on it in a sentence which i cannot comprehend. It says Rainbow dolls that limb of SATAN likes silly games. I mean of all words why that word? I am not really always anti-satan lol but it is just sooooooooo weird. The picture i attached is that of the paper the pic of the correction tape is in my blog.. http://booksaremyrealities.wordpress.com/2012/03/02/satan/ just soooooooo weird!

I find that weird too. I mean, I would never expect such a word to come up in any office supply. Satan connotes evil to most faith believing people. (I know there are some who worship him though) But that's not weird for me since I'm looking at this business-wise. Most businesses try to stay neutral in their religious affiliations and/or beliefs especially if it would be offensive or disturbing to a lot of their prospective clients. It's just a sound business practice. This obviously isn't the case here.

Oops typo error: *might make a customer dissatisfied.. Oh well, I saw that there are more typos in my response, anyway I just woke up lol...and quickly checked out this discussion because of its eye-catching title.

That's true, Ghajini. I've noticed that indeed. It just makes me wonder though. I actually haven't checked if there are studies indicating that incorporating symbols and stuff pertaining to satan or other religious beliefs that are seen by most as evil does affect the sales of the product. And no worries about the typos. It also happens to me a lot of times :)

I would have freaked out. I'm not superstitious and all that religious but that would still have been very creepy for me. Probably because I am a coward.

Perhaps it is like when you keep typing brought and you mean bought. Maybe they meant satin. Rainbow doll that limb of satin like silly games. Although lined with or covered with satin would make more sense. We used to have to type a sentence that was incorrect and then correct it with correction tape to test it. But that is certainly a weird sentence for sure. Many Chinese people do not have a good grasp of the English language and that may have been something they miswrote by mistake. Surprised weird is not a category on mylot, mylot has been around for a long time.

I visited your blog and see the words that you said. But it seems nothing weird in there. Those tapes written words satan is a letter that describe the said package. This maybe a kind of computer games which name the software "satan". I know a computer software before called "diablo" but I don't know if this is a version of that games...

Ohh, yes. Religion is selling morethings that you would imagine. It is a world-old way of getting money from people. What am I saying? Religion is the best way of making people to give you money, with the less effort from your part.

@JesusPower Religion sells stuff. I think you are right here. If it's not se-x, than it's religion or patriotism or something else. Almighty profit doesn't works in mysterious ways, but very profane ones.
