Unlike other people, I had my first cell phone when I was 19 years old which is about 5 years ago. I've got totally no clue on cell phones back then and I bought Sony Ericsson K618i which was about $280. I used that phone for more than a year and I found it to be harder to charge the phone right after a few months of using it.
After the phone broke down, My girlfriend gave me a Sony Ericsson W595 as birthday present and it has the same charging issue after a few months of usage. Soon it cannot be charge at all. So I bought a cheap Sony Ericsson S312 which cost less than $70 and it had the same issue again.
The problem is not with the phone charger, it's the charger slot on the phone which always got something loosen up inside (told by a phone technician). A few days ago I bought a Samsung Galaxy Wonder GT I8150 for a change. Anyone had the same issue or maybe you can share your experience with Sony Ericsson phone?

I had a sony ericson cellphone for a while and didn't have any similar issues with it. But then again I didn't use it for very long, only for a couple of months and then got a new cellphone as a gift so switched over...

Well i still use my sony ericson k800i, yup it does have charging issues the p[hone tech said that the copper were in the charger and the battery meets corrodes easily that is why it looses contact and when that happen no charging will occur. I guess this is the case for this yours too.

It also happen to my Sony Ericsson phone!
Currently I have two Sony Ericsson phone around me. One works good, while the other one got an issue with the charging system. I can't charge it at all xD
Fortunately, those two phones have same battery. So I will just use the one that works good to charge those two batteries interchangeably.. Just swap the batteries and problem solved..
