wat are tags?

friends can anyone help me when you start discussion post related to anything they ask for the tag what do mean by that

To make easier other people to find similar discussions (with same tag). Search engine work based on tag, ..... short of Happy Lotters

tags are simply words to identify better your discussion if it is searched on the search engine and so putting the right tags your discussion or posts can be found in relation to the topic..

Look at the 'similar topics' column over there -- Those are topics that have the same tags as this one. Other users see them and might respond on them too. Read here to see what myLot have to tell us about the purpose of the tags: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq9.aspx

It just helps to organize the discussions and put them into the correct category. =) No big deal.

The tag system is a tool very useful in a lot of areas. In internet it helps you to put together similar information. The tags can be the main words of your post or what is it related to. It is a good idea to put the tags in your posts to help people to find it. Happy mylotting.
