..but only when Shepard Smith is anchoring it! What is it about this guy? He's soooo cute..and funny too. He would fit in so well into Fox's sister channel Sky News, he really would but only so I could see more of him. I do laugh at the "Fair and Balanced" slogan of Fox BUT I think Shep actually is, so there you go. I can't figure out if that's fake tan or mascara he's wearing. Dig those eyelashes, they're longer than mine (not difficult) lol. Please tell me he's not gay!

He's straight as an arrow, dear one and from what I hear, he's as nice in person as he seems to be on his show. No station is completely fair and balanced, but Fox comes closest. I hear several commentators who will stand up for the Left as well as the Right when they feel either of them is right. They don't usually gang up on a person from the other side as often happens on other stations. I listen to news on several stations and, so far, Fox has my vote for the most informative and accurate. Hugs, Maggie

I remember seeing him a few years ago and he was in the front line when Hurricane Katrina struck (well, I think it was that particular hurricane). He didn't seem to mind being pummeled by the elements in that lovely face of his. So chuffed he's not gay. Is he married or shacked up with someone? Why do they all have to talk so fast though? As for the Brit on there (sorry, I can't remember his name) he SHOUTS ALL THE TIME! His furrowed brow gets on my nerves as well. I hope you know who I mean!

Neither Brit nor Bret are loud. Both are soft spoken but get their points across. There are some who speak loudly to get the people they are interviewing to keep to the point because they normally have little more than a couple of minutes per interview. I get aggravated, too, when that happens, but it's how the program are set up and the interviewer has little to say about it. I love your usage of the smilies. lol Hugs, Maggie

Ta! I meant Brit as in "British." Or "English" lol. John reliably informs me he's called Jonathan Hunt. I'm addicted to the smileys. Good job I can only use 3 at a time!

I don't watch Fox News. They are as close to being 'fair and balanced' as Rush Limbaugh is. By the same means, I don't watch MSNBC either.

I don't have a problem with anyone who watches Fox News except for those who don't realize that their coverage of news is slanted. To me it's scarier with people who listen to Rush, or worse Michael Savage, and believe everything they say. There's a form of propaganda called 'the big lie' which basically says that if you repeat a lie enough times, everyone will believe it.

I read about the latest ridiculous comment Rush Limbaugh came out with the other day. I cannot believe he has his own radio show that is listened to on 600 channels around the US. Please don't think I'm right wing because I watch Shep now and again. I just like to watch "the Dark Side" to get their (usually ridiculous) perspective on things.

Uck. I hate Faux "news". They twist stories, show pictures that don't match the story, and I have even caught them changing their story with my own eyes and ears within only a couple hours. It is ridiculous and I wouldn't trust a word they say. I don't know much about this news anchor, but if he works for Fox, I don't like or trust him.

Like I say, Fox News isn't normally my favourite news channel but Shep is..well, cute so I put up with it when he's on. Some presenters are more er...right-wing than others but with Shep, it's hard to tell, which is why I like him. Doesn't make it obvious.

I haven't watched Fox News Channel,I have some diffeculty in understanding spoken English. The same with what you said, some anchors cut a fine figure and often make a stream of witty remarks on their programme,so the channel they host has higher audience ratings.

Believe me, I have difficulty in understanding spoken English at times, especially when they talk very, very fast (usually speeding up before the adverts come on).

Besides talking fast,I guess there are also varieties of dialects over there. The same with us,there are a lot of dialects that I can't understand.

He's not on Sky News, just Fox News as far as I know but there again Fox News is the American version of Sky News so I guess you're right!
