Who out there is CPR certified? I was just curious. I had my recert today. I think it's nice to be able to save a person's life. If your ever in that situation, it's nice to know that you can help.

Congrats to you. Learning CPR is a good thing to do. I used to be certified. I was an EMT at my local ambulance service.

I don't have a CPR course but wish I did . I think it would be good to have because you never know when you could be in the situation that someone could need your help and you would be helpless on what to do . When one of my daughters was much younger and in school she choked on a candy and the teacher did not have a CPR course and at that time there was no phones in the class , she started screaming for help but no one went to help because they thought she was just having a fun day in her class , in the end she tried to do what they show you should do for CPR from seeing it on t.v and she succeeded in getting the candy unlodged but she was very scared after this and was not comfortable with children eating candy in the class after this . I think they should give this as a free coruse to anyone who has children or works with children . The course is so expensive and thus for makes it difficult for people who would be very interested in the course from not getting it .

I'm also CPR certified. When I was nursing I had to go through the refresher class each year. I'm about due to get recertified again. It's a good thing to know!
