Has Redgage stopped using tweeting?

I think, this is the best place to know the truth as well as the latest developments. I just read that we cannot use Twitter anymore to increase the RG views as it was possible until yesterday. Is is right what I heard? Have any of you experienced this that Twitter is not allowing the RG links to be tweeted? If this is true, then it will be a big loss. Please share your views.

It has been a issue and if you try to tweet directly from the RG page it will say that your content is spammy . I have tried the trick by sharing it with shareaholic and removing the word 'Redgage' and the hash(#)tags if any from my tweet and that's working fine . Be careful about this as it might lead to twitter account suspension as I have seen many getting suspended because of this .

I also use shareaholic. But I didn't think of tweeting it that way even when the thought struck me. After all, the end result is the tweet and it is going to be monitored anyhow. Why lose your Twitter account for a matter of some views? As you pointed out, Twitter accounts will be suspended if one tries to tweet those links the way you mentioned.

This certifies that redgage is not spammy in any way and if you send a mail to twitter stating your problem attaching this link you will get a clear answer from twitter which will clear you doubts . All the best !

I use shareaholic.com and that does the job for me . It is simple to register there and it makes tweeting very easy and fast .

I experienced this change today morning and thought of sharing it with you . Now you can share in twitter directly from the RG page . I thing the problem has been resolved .

Are you sure this is working? I am using my shareaholic account to tweet my RG articles. Can I go through the same process again? Just share your views.

But how nice it would have been if they had posted any alerts about the same. Will it be safe to share through Shareaholic, or will I have to use the "Share This" buttons below the post?

Try sharing directly from the RG page and you will see that twitter is not giving the message that your tweet contains any spamy url . This signifies that the problem with RG and Twitter has been resolved .

I am also a member of Redgage. You can add me if you want. My username is rockbleeder. Anyway, about the Twitter issue, I don't know about it but if it's true then we will lose some views. Twitter is one of the biggest contributor of readers/viewers.

Well, I will certainly add you as my friend. As time goes by, it will be clear how things shape up. You are right, we are certainly going to lose not some, but loads of views. The traffic to RG might also take a beating.

Oh what a quick and fast response, my friend.
Yes, there are lot's of people who have claimed that they have got paid by RG. I was staring at my first payment and now it seems it will be a while before it can happen, if the news is true.

I have joined this site but left it after hearing that this site is paying through their card only.. I would love to work on it if they would have paypal..
I haven't heard that they have stop tweeter option. I wonder why they have done it.. Twitter is the good option to get many views.. This will surely slow the earning for their member.

Yes, it is the RedGage card that they send us upon qualifying for the payout, which is $25. This milestone was not that hard to achieve with Twitter by our side. But now, one will have to fight for each single view. Like you and me, there might be many more who are wondering why they took this decision in the first place.

I read it recently that redgage links are getting blocked at twitter.
Solution is, shorten your url using any url shortening service and tweet it, my friends did it and everything going fine at their end now.

Yes, there are these kinds of other methods those can be used in tweeting. But if Twitter is indeed blocking the RG links, even with shortened URLs they will come to know of this - either now or later. This also runs the risk of getting the Twitter account suspended (forever)!
