Do you believe in superstitious belief in body marks? like a mole in the hands signifies wealth or thievery and a person with mole on his face will be successful in business.Well I have a big mole on the back of my right shoulder (doctor said its normal mole)which denotes some kind of burden we need to carry in life (life carrying a cross like God did for us) and a mole on my right foot which means that I was born an adventurer.I actually starting to believe on it because of the troubles or problems God is throwing me most of the time. I like travelling too and been to different places. Can you share me your opinion about this wive's tales??I'm thinking of removing the mole on the back of my right shoulder through surgery since its giving bad luck.

I also have heard about that superstitious belief in a mole. They said if you have a mole in your palm you are most likely become a thief, or if you have in your foot you are a wanderer and many more. Well, I have a mole in my finger but I'm not a thief, I also have a mole in my foot and slightly I like to travel. Well, half true and half false. But as for me, I don't certainly believe about this, What I strongly believe is that you should have to believe in yourself and above anything else, the almighty God, the father of all who is all knowing. He is the master of our body. He designed what's in our body and he designed it for a reason. God never wanted us to be living in bad luck. What God wants us why we He throw us so many problems because He wanted us to be stronger than ever. Maybe why you have so many problems, probably God wanted you to grow more and be firm in your decision in life and to your life itself.

A belief is only belief. It has no hard and fast or scientific bindings. You may consult your doctor for safe removal of it, if you desire so. In many cases moles are due to certain types of virus. Anyway, a mark of mole happens with many organs of persons, making them neither rich nor poor! Thanks for this topic!!

My wife has a mole at the side of her lips, and she never stops talking. lol! Moles distinctly located in different parts of our body or face could in fact could be a marker for identification. Yes it could be surgically removed as some could be benign or malignant in origin.

I grew up believing in such superstitions like these especially since my mom believed them too much. But now that I'm older, I have outgrown them and knew better than to believe such superstitions. With what you said about the mole on the hand, I do have a mole on my right hand and I'm neither rich nor a thief. I also have a mole on my face and I'm still not successful as I wanted to be. I do have two mole on my feet and I must say that I'm pretty much an adventurer myself. I love traveling. So there you go. Not everything is true. Some may just be a coincidence. Still, I don't see any harm believing in superstitions, as long as we don't use them as guidelines on how to live our lives. For me though they're just fun trivia and "good-to know" kind of things.

I would not remove any mole on my body unless it is turns out to be cancerous in nature. I think mole are very good for identity purposes.

I have never heard of mole superstitions, but they sound like they could very well be. I know of the itchy hand superstitions and getting a chill but never mole ones. I wouldn't have a surgery just because a superstition tells that it's bad luck, I would remove it for pain or possible cause of future problems. Never good to have surgery when it's not really mandatory.
