Sunday night again...

Here we are, it is Sunday night yet again. I've been doing laundry and preparing for the week and decided to take a break to do some mylotting. I don't understand why it feels like Monday through Friday drag but the weekend flies by. An old friend use to always say "Isn't it sad we wish our lives away waiting for the weekend." She was referring to work and how we would hope that every day would be quick and easy and it would be Friday again so we could look forward to time with our families on the weekend. How do you feel about it being Sunday night yet again?

During my school days I have to admit that I have bad feeling every Sunday night that I have to go back again in school by the following day. Not unless during college days that my day off is Monday.

I am from India and it's Monday again :-( I too wait for Sundays . It is the day when I am all day with my parents . Whole week is so hectic with such a lot of work load but on this I pamper myself as does my parents . We visit relatives , have lunch & dinner together and sometimes go for walks . I also get time to concentrate on my writings and research work . Sunday is also special because I was born on a Sunday ...hehe . Have a great time :-)

Yes me too I wish it's weekend as am looking forward for the family to be together. We're only three at home as my eldest already married and living separately. On Saturdays my daughter and I stay together at home sharing experiences for the week, listen to music together, buy favorite food we share and surf the net. While on Sundays my son is also with us if he does not run (as he love joining fun runs these days) we would go to church together, dine out and stay at the mall, window shop or stroll. Sometimes my grandkis come on Sundays too and together we eat as well at their favorite fast foods. So weekends are always great.

hi there cjfoust, before when i was still working, sunday is my first day of work. hence our weekend is every friday and saturday. so during those times, we are always looking forward to friday and saturday as our weekend are these days. these are the days we are bond with our family and friends. but now its different, since i have resigned from my desk job work. now, i am working online, so i am just considering sunday as my weekend. thus, i am working from monday to saturday being online. no regrets and still looking for more.

I am always looking forward for Fridays and weekends but when it is Sunday, I am like another week. I just hate the lazy feeling that I experience every start of the week.

I really don't like the weekends to end I enjoy my family time and doing things as a family, the Monday to Friday routine just seems so rushed all the time. But so goes the routine work 5 off 2, tomorrow is work 1 of 5
