I always said to people cell phones are a lot like underwears... It's personal & not everybody's gonna agree on one thing... Choosing a cell phone should be based on your personal needs, not what everyone else says its best... Different models have their own advantages & disadvantages... Core functions of any given cell phones are about the same... Making & receiving voice calls, sending & receiving text messages & accessing Internet & emails & taking pictures... I know there are some variations like playing games & listening to music, too... Think about what you wanna accomplish with your phone before saying one type of phone is good or bad... I personally like blackberry for few reasons... First, security... They are known for how secure their info structure is... I know they're working on old system... But their unofficial motto always has been, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"... I work partly as a translator... I get a lot of security sensitive documents emailed to me... Second, battery life... Blackberry phones, in general or in comparison to other smart phones, have better power management system... Half of my co-workers have either iPhone or android phones... They're constantly tied to the charger... Straight out of the box, my blackberry will last 2 - 3 times longer than their phones will... I know with the iPhone, there's an option to get a case with extended battery built into it... Well, I have extended battery for my blackberry as well... And again, my phone will run for about 2 & 1/2 days when my co-worker's phone lasts about a day & a 1/2 with extended battery... Comes in handy when we are on a business trip... 3rd, memory capacity... For the. Out part, it doesn't really make that big of a difference but for some of us, it makes a huge difference... The fact that I have a capacity to remove memory card in & out of my cell phone is actually a big plus to me... I have close to 14 gig of documents in my phone's memory card... I can pop it out & work on any computer, save it back onto memory card & pop it back into my phone & have instant access to it from my phone without having to carry a data cable... Oh, I have 32 gig memory card in my phone... My work computer is more or so a public computer... I don't feel comfortable with leaving sensitive documents in it... With iPhones or androids, I know documents can be accessed with Dropbox & other file share apps but personally, I'd rather not have it synced automatically to all the computers... Just the ones I choose... Whatever I work on at work, I can pick & choose what I bring home, not just updated automatically... 4th, Internet access... I know this is one of the biggest complaints... Blackberry does have slower Internet browser... No doubt about that... But you have to understand if that's the only thing you're looking for in your phone, blackberry may not be for you... Some other issues are as follows... Other phones have access to millions of apps... How many so you really need? I use about 8... And my blackberry can handle all of them just as good & fast as any other phones operating system... Games & music? Is that the reason you want a smart phone? If it is, that's fine... Like I said before, everybody gets a phone for different reasons... I personally don't listen to music or play games on mine... No need for that for me... There are few other things I could bring up but it can get really long so I will stop now... I will end it with saying one more thing... Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with all the other phones & their operating systems... Like I said, I think it's all about personal needs & preferences...

Definitely a Android according to me..!! Don't go for Blackberry... Its no where in competition to Iphone and Android..!! Iphone is a bit overpriced..!!! And also the flexibility that Android provides makes it slightly better than iPhone..!! These are my thoughts anyways... Many others still think Iphone is better than Android and in the end its a matter of personal liking..!!!

In my opinion, the iPhone is the greatest smart phone out there. Granted, it has its downfalls, but lots of these can be changed by jailbreaking. Also, the general user experience is easier than Android or anything else. It's easier to pick up and be able to use to a first timer than the others, too. Also, the iPhone has a lot more accessories and add ons available than other phones. There are also less models, which makes it easier to distinguish which one you have and buy appropriate accessories. I would make a decision based on what iPhone your boyfriend is going to bring you. If it's an older model, I would buy something newer, as they have more modern technology. Have you looked into just getting your Nokia repaired instead of buying a completely new phone? Hope I helped! derp
