It is indeed fun here but I'm a Filipino so most people would just assume I'm bias . But coming from a non-Filipino can really be heartwarming. I guess we would all feel the same each time a foreigner praises our country. I'm glad that you had fun here especially the eating portion. We actually are food-loving people. Eating is one of our most favorite pastime

mountain - This is a mountain good for hiking
Hello there, I agree with you! It is really more fun in the Philippines. I had been to other countries in Asia and the Middle east and I can attest it is more fun in the Philippines. This is IF the government will do something to rehabilitate all the natural beauties the philippines has. People have to pitch in too. Come to my city and enjoy mountain hiking or bush walking!

it's interesting to hear that. you mean you are not a Filipino and you love Philippines? I wonder why most Filipinos wanted to go out from the Philippines and live in another country. They make Philippines as their second home. Good for you

I only know the Philippines through the Filipino soap operas that are shown on tv in my country. My mother's favorite is Pangako Sayo. I know this is an old soap opera but my mother just loves the show.

Sadly, I've never been to the Philippines. Many years ago my friend went to Manila and she said it's a nice city except for the many child beggars that followed her around. It's sad to see such young children begging in the street. When I went to India, I had the same experience. We saw many child beggars on the street. Some even carried babies. I wanted to cry seeing these uncared for children. There used to be child beggars in the city where I live now but not anymore because the government has given them shelter. And has made it illegal to beg on the street but there are still some beggars here and there but they are mostly adults. If the police sees them begging, they would certainly be arrested.

I've never been to the Philippines except for a transit at Manila airport. However, I've the pleasure to meet some Filipinos and they are very nice friends who introduce me to many delicious Filipino dishes (Halo-halo?) and some tagalogs. They even tried to teach me to play Mah Jong, but I never really got a hang of it.

Quirino Grandstand - This is a part of Rizal Park
Our country is beautiful. It is great that I could start going around now that I am in a stable status. It is time for me to know more about my beloved country before I go abroad and see other lands

Philippines is a very beautiful country, so are the people but the economy is very poor. i hope the leaders do a better job and not just think about the money. instead of taking money that belongs to the country, they keep it to themselves. but as we all can see now, those that do things like that are not happy with their lives. they may be rich but they are, one by one, getting caught and flooded by problems and their families being involved to scandals. i hope they stop it start thinking about their, the people's and the country's future.

Its fun really in the Philippines. But sometimes a little tough too. What I don't like with us Filipinos is we lack discipline and our surroundings are not as clean and beautiful as other countries. Poverty also has been quite hard to resolved and we are left behind by so many Asian countries. But despite of that, it is cool living in the Philippines and people here are fun loving and has good sense of humor.

yes it is true that it is fun here in the Philippines. We have lots of beautiful places and good people. The only problem is that some people in our government abuses some of our resources just to earn money.
