Osbourne family as a cartoon

Trying to get away from the tv in the morning I've been listening to the radio. They were mentioning that The Osbourne's were negotiating the production of an animated tv show starring their family. http://entertainment.xin.msn.com/en/celebrity/buzz/hollywood/article-video.aspx?cp-documentid=5962631 Do you think you'd watch it? Though it's still in the early stages do you think it would be shown on prime time or late night when it airs?

I wouldn't watch it, but if were PG my kids might be interested. They like the Osbourne's for some weird reason.

I like Sharon a bit, ok fine her hair moreso... But I agree it won't be in my house if it's not PG but you know what gets away as "PG" these days is absurd!

Odds are it wouldn't be something kids should watch anyway. Afterall my eldest's teacher said iCarly was not a child appropriate show, it's ok... it's annoying more than anything. But hubby laughs at it though he deny's it's funny. I do watch America's Got Talent once in a while (no idea when it's on though... ). But I think if they knew more about Ozzy like Dragon's comment and how outragious he was back in the day (which is probably a drop in the bucket by today's entertainment standards).

Sharon is the reason my kids like them. They love America's Got Talent, which she is a host of.. so that got them liking her and Ozzy. Not sure they know anything about the kids yet, but they'd watch just for her and Ozzy. I'd have to see an episode or two to know whether or not I'd let the kids watch it.

This family has been overexposed for years. I have no interest in them or a cartoon about them.

Indeed very overexposed. Though if they weren't constantly putting themselves out there we would forget them totally as we have with the stars in years past. So it's annoying but it's also keeping them working persay

This could be funny. I remember when they had their reality television show, and that show was so hilarious. I think that I would watch it if they had one.

Trust me, it was funny. Kelly and Jack were your brother and sister who loved to fight, and Sharon and Ozzy were like the funny Goth/Metal rock star parents.

I never saw their tv show, I don't have cable. I've only ever seen bits on the entertainment shows.

I never watched their filmed show and I won't watch the cartoon. Things like that are very boring to me. When I heard about the original show I felt really sorry for the kids and wondered why they felt the need to do that to them. And I wondered what type of person would want to watch the private lives of people. I don't like cartoons in general these days. They used to be entertaining in the 50s and 60s with great animation. Now they are boring and repetitious, message oriented and the animation is more like moving still pictures compared to what cartoons used to be. Honestly, what's the fascination with the Osbourne family?! I like his music but I could not care less how he and his family live their lives and to be turned into cartoons strikes me as absurd and ironic--the innovative, daring young man who defied convention, changed popular music and outraged millions is now reduced to a cheap cartoon.

I have not heard this but it does not surprise me in the least. I think that the family is struggling for money and they are willing to do just about anything to get it. I, personally like Sharon and I really wish her talk show would have been a hit. I did enjoy watching it. I don't have satellite or cable any longer so I don't get to see any other ventures she may have part in. I am sure that there is someone out there in love with the Osbourne family that will watch it.

I didn't think her talk show was too shabby either. I like her solo but with the rest of the family I dunno. I don't have paid tv outside of netflix either to of seen any of their previous productions other than when it's mentioned on the gossip tv shows on broadcast tv.

I love the Osbournes. they speak their minds and are not afraid to show their spontaneity and style way of living life. They are entertaining without really trying and are easy to identify with. The dry sense of humor they portray is very enjoyable. I would love to see the Osbournes as an animated show. i think it wwould be just as sucdcessful as the simpsons or the family guy.

They are just taking the opportunity to further expose themselves and keep income going just as any of the celebs in particular the reality celebs.

What network would show it? I don't watch them now and probably wouldn't as a cartoon, unless they were scheduled after the Simpsons. Could an animated version be any crazier than the real one? And what language does Ozzie speak?

No idea no network was mentioned as of yet. I have no idea what language he speaks some sort of English jibberish? You can understand him when he sings but how he speaks is quite difficult to comprehend much of the time.

I saw something about an Osbourne cartoon a while back but never thought anything came of it. I remember when the sitcom about the family was on. I watched it a couple of times but it wasn't really my cup of tea. I don't think the cartoon would really be for either. I think that it would probably be on prime time for a while...that is if they keep it clean enough..lol.
