I tjhought we were going to go just the two of us, as we went the last time, but two of my grandsons came along. And I was glad they did as the movie wos awesome. We went to see Hugo, a movie that had 11 nominations for the Oscar and was a winner in some of them. I will not tell you what it is about, but I strongly recommend it, specially for people who are interested in the history of movie making. Reality and fantasy are mixed in a moving story for all ages and tastes.
Have you seen it? How did you like it? My sister could download it to see it at home.

I had my doubths about this movie, since it seems to be a movie for children, so, when some friends talked about going to see it I was rather reluctant, until I notices Martin Scorsese was the director. The movie is really good, with a very touching story, far less complex to other earlier works from Scorsese, but I liked it, and I am looking it for download myself, if I find it in spanish.

Indeed, this is a movie that can be enjoyed by all the family, and not only the younger ones, children, of course, will enjoy the special efects the graphic material, and all the funny parts, but Scorsese film, always has several layers of depth, and we all can enjoy the story as well. And, by the way, the word in english is "dubbed", but, as for myself, I prefer the original audio, and subtitles if necesary.

You are welcome!!!!!!!!!!! I have been watching a lot of french movies, and, althought I studied french in highschool I barely understand something today, I also like japanese movies, specially thrillers and suspense-terror, way much better than those made in the US. Sometimes I wish I knew more languages.

Thanks for a new word in English, friend. I also prefer films in their original languajes, even if I must read the subtitles. I understood not a bit in all those awesome danish movies I saw long time ago, but the atmosphere would have not been the same in Spanish.

I have seen this movie last week and overall the movie is great. You are right, it gives us a taste of history plus fantasy. The movie is for family. Ben Kingsley's performance is very good and the movie let us feel how movies were created before, all their effort and hard work. It's truly inspiring.

We all had fun, I bought popcorn and we ate out of a giant bag. I´m looking at ome pictures at home now, but I love going to the movies. It still has it´s special meaning from the time I was a kid.

I haven't seen it, but then again, I don't have the opportunity to go to the movie theater very often because of the fact that it is expensive to go to the movie theater and that is money that I really don't want to have to spend when it can be spent on things that are more important.
With that said, it is great to be able to find movies that are great for all ages to be able to watch.

You can bring the movie home if you have a DVD player. You can get it at a Blockbuster and watch it with all your family at home for a small price. It´s worth it, it´s a tender movie and has teachings for children and grownups. How´s your husband?

I liked it too,both child artists did a fantastic job and Sir Ben Kingsly is good as always.As expected movie is shot beautifully .However i expected much more from this movie as its directed by Martin Scorsese.

You can hire it to watch at home too. That is specially good if you can watch it with someone else.

I haven't seen that movie yet but it'll probably be one i download at home to watch it on my own. That was nice of her to take you along with your grand sons, sounds like a nice little outing. Everyone I know that have seen it says the movie is really good so that we'll probably be one I watch this weekend :)

hello, i'm glad you had a nice time friend, it's just that I have not gone to a movie house for a long time although the mall that has so many movie houses is just a short distance from my house, I just don't have the luxury of time like i use to, anyway if you are recommending it then it must be good, I really trust your good judgement cause I know you also write and writers are in a good position to or are knowledgeable to make reviews, so I'll tell the movie "Hugo" to my fiends.

I used to go to the movies a lot more years ago, when my husband was alive. But then it was not as easy to bring the movie home as there were no DVD players. Now, you can get it at a Blockbuster and watch it with all your family at home for a small price. Watching movies together with the family is a nice way of bonding

I haven't seen this movie yet but plan on watching it soon since I have heard very good reviews on it and my friends who have watched it really liked it also. It seems like you had a very nice time with your daughter and grandsons, good that you enjoyed yourself and liked the movie...
