Would you support a fruit and water only snack policy for your kid's sport team? If my children where into sport or do sports and there coach asked the parents to support water and fruit only snacks I would understand and be supportive. I played sports as a kind and water was good for when you where working out and certain fruits where very refreshing to have at half time or even after the game normally if one of us kids didn't want any we would just not eat the snack and drink our waters. Normally parents would bring extra water and fruit because you never know who is going to be hungry or really thirsty especially when they are younger before the teen years.

Yes, of course I would support my child's sport team if the coach asked that only water and fruit be brought. As a parent of four, and as a coach of children's sport teams, I know the importance of supporting the team, the child, and the coach.

I see as if what the coach is asking for isn't silly or ridiculous of a request then me as mother and of course being a player of sports myself when I was younger. Most of the time coaches are always looking out for what is best for his/her players so i know I would support this choice. Of course no Organics I know as player those get sticky and you get sick really quick on a hot day. I know anything with no acid in it is prefect for sports as well as water. If someone wants to give them a treat after the game like candy or pizza I'm cool with that as a mommy.

Yes, I will support the team as a whole, and also the child when we are away from the team.

I think that fruit and water during games and practices is perfect for children, especially those that are younger children. Paul is getting ready to officially start his second season of tee-ball tomorrow and he will be carrying a water bottle with him for his practices and will also have water with him at all of his games. However, I do know that after games the league provides the children with a soft drink or lemonade and he will probably also get a bag of chips as well. But, that really doesn't bother me either.

After a game that really isn't a big deal a soda and chips and of course if he doesn't want them he doesn't have to take them. Some kids are hungry after a game and others are not. I would support water and fruit during practices and games if that was what the coach wanted.

Yes! I will. I have to respect my child's decision. I will do anything that can make him happy. Doing things that he loves and enjoy will boost his self-esteem. This can also help him in choosing career and improving his way of mingling with others.

I'm not sure if you read closely or not. We aren't talking about the child picking a snack for his sport active we are talking about would you support the coach's decision in fruit and water only snack during practices and games/matches? If my child was to do a sport I would support pretty much any decision his/her coach comes up with. If I feel its good for my kids health and for that active I would be behind that coach all the way.

I also think that to support your kid is a great experience. In that way you improve your relationship with your kid and you start being a bigger part of its life. You know how difficult is to make your kids thankful, well this is one if the ways. To support them, especially in sport.

I'm not sure if your answered the question or not if you would support your child coaches choice of only fruit and water as a snack during like practices and games/matches? Me of course as long as what the coach is saying and doing is right and in a good way I'm going to support what ever choice the coach makes if its going to help better my child in the active they love doing. If the coach came up to me and suggested nothing but cookies and soft drinks I would think he or she was crazy and take my kid some where else.
