Difference between CDMA and GSM mobiles

At present most of the persons are using CDMA and GSM cell phones, but initially Realiance and Tata Indicom was released CDMA phones and after words, GSM cell phones are grab the market, as per my knowledge we cannot change the service provider in CDMA cell phone,but we can change the survice provider in GSM cell phones, now some china made cell phone are with triple phone option means two GSM and one CDMA sim cards can be used in these phone, now android phone are also in the market with latest applications, now the customer is having lot of chances to select best model from the market

hi, usually in a telecom company especially those landlines they are using a cdma type of phone like in the company where i working now,i think they use cdma to avoid using the unit to other network,like to the other company who are using gsm,after they have used the line they can easily change the sim card from other network.

Hi asliah, Thanks for the response, after long time you are giving reply to this discussion. Yes in CDMA phone we cannot change the service providers,but in GSM model phone we can change any time any network provider easily. Now a days CDMA and GSM both are available in the market for the use of customers, have a nice day.

CDMA phones is not Good as GSM if we want to change our old Model CDMA phone it's always difficult to get the Same number and the Phone changed we need to change the Phone also. CDMA phones are Not good as the GSM Phone Facility. Always GSM mobiles is the Best one in Mobile field. But it's good to have CDMA belong with the GSM.

hi kasiviswanathan, thanks for the response, you are right, we cannot change the service provider in CDMA phone just like in GSM phone,now i am using one MTS CDMA phone,it is working nice,the cost of the phone when purchased it is 625.00 in rupees, just like that i require a good camera and internet phone in CDMA ,those will be available at an affordable prices,have a nice day

thats the technology development whe the first time , the cellphone era was launched, it was impossible for see the one cellphone had 2 different signal frequency not it can be done..amazing

hi adhyz, thanks for the response,but not satisfied with your answer,i have not received the right answer for this post,what are the uses of CDMA and GSM phones,its differences and its usages,but your answer is not that,so i have to wait some more time to get the right answers,i think,have a nice day

hi friend, thanks for the response, i did not know about the difference about the CDMA and GSM phone, now i am having one GSM phone and one CDMA phone,but both are working very good, but the thing is we can change any sim card in GSM phones and we could not change sim card in CDMA phone, i think that is only difference,have a nice day
