yesterday, our old computer came from the shop and was fixed. we already had this computer fixed several times because of some errors that came up. we haven't used it and ignored it for 6 months or so since it got another error. recently my father decided to take it to the shop because me and my sister always take turns using his laptop. luckily, the computer got fix. now, i decided to put a password on it so that my sister cannot just use it herself without asking permission. she only likes to abuse using something and would not even think what will happen as a result. every time it gets to be fixed i am the only sharing with the money to be paid for it, she refuses to share even just a small amount and uses it when it is already fixed. this can be unfair because she will use the computer too. it got be annoyed and irritated. my sister tends to be too lazy and takes time on the computer several hours all day, she doesn't sleep that much, hadn't eaten yet, taken a bath, haven't fixed her bed, and help around a bit then sits and be always on the computer. i want to teach her a lesson because if not she can become abusive and be too much already with this behavior and attitude. do you experience the same thing? do you think i am selfish by putting a password on the computer? if you were in the same situation and have a sister like this, what would you do?

Sure ,you can do password on your computer.I hate that, i always not let my sister to use my computer if i am working in it. I am in charge and they will only use my computer if they need something. So they can't do it easy i am strict on my things.

yes, sometimes i do things first like some chores and just leave the computer then she wakes up go straight to the computer and for several hours she will be there then when it is my time to use the computer even on my free time i cannot use it anymore or find it hard to do because she is seated on it. this is kind of unfair so i must do something to give her a lesson because she will become abusive if we always permit her to do such kind of things. if i have a computer, i must put it away because i know her she really uses it all the time until it becomes ruin she will not be responsible for the costs on all repairs she only knows how to use and abuse it.

Yeah...you should do it. Put password, secure your computer that no one can open it except you and the other trusted user. If I have a sister like you had mentioned, then I will do the same. She must also responsible in paying the bills or if the computer have to be fixed.

it is alright for her to use the computer and i would not be putting a password if only she do things properly first or at least help around the house before she go and sits on the computer and would at least share on payment when it was fixed because she uses it too.
