Accounts are canceled for a number of reasons. Chronic repeated violations and ignoring warnings are the most common reasons. Other things that can result in immediate removal are plagiarism posting illegal links (such as pirated content, etc), trolling, and harassing other members extensively. Abusing the search feature is another way to get instantly canceled. Another sure way to get canceled instantly is by intentionally creating a multitude of duplicate accounts.

If your friend did not comply to the TermsofUse which they agreed to when they registered then that is the reason for losing their account without warning.
Did they spam?
Did they plagiarise?
did theyhave multiple accounts?
Did they abuse the search?
They know what they did wrong and often they will not let their friends know, telling them that it is myLot's fault and that they did nothing wrong at alll - bah!
Those of us who abide by the TermsofUse do not risk losing our account.

What do you mean by "abuse the search" mysD.... And im not familliar with that word plagiarise? Is that got anything to do with copy &paste?

If we use the search correctly, to search for information, then all will be well.
If we use it repeatedly, hoping only to receive a reward and not to find information, then myLot detect this as abuse and ban our account.
Many users have been banned ofr this reason and it is stated in the FAQs:

Plagiarising is copying articles/posts from other websites and posting them elsewhere (in this case here on myLot) without citing the source and pretending that they are our own original work.
Plagiarising is an offence.
