Tonight the girls are singing Whitney Houston songs

I am wondering if this is in poor taste given that she passed away 2 weeks ago? The guys are singing Stevie Wonder and the first guy out, did awesome!

Hmm... really??? I don't get to see the show for another 7 hours or so here. But it would be interesting to see; especially for the girls since a Whitney Houston song would not be the easiest choice for some.

Well the first one out to sing Whitney did terrible! Now the second one is out, she "may" pass. Just not feeling it, either for originality and of course it has to be super tough to sing a song that is known for a particular style and sound.

If I may guess, perhaps Jessica Sanchez would be the one who could pull off something like "I'll always love you".

Jessica Sanchez rocked it with "I'll always love you", which surprised me! I'm glad she pulled it off well though. As Steven Tyler said "she just made 40 million people cry."

No. I think that singing Whitney Houston's songs is a very fitting way to remember her. Have a great weekend!

yes the 1st guy out did very good :) and i guess the way they look at it as it is remembering her or honoring her to have them sing her songs but at the same time i kind of feel the same way you do about it being in poor taste. i kinda feel that may be it was to soon for that..
