Personally I don't think a reasonable budget of national cerebration is a waste of money. We know the bond of the nation is very important. National cerebrations are good opportunities to strengthen the bond of the nation. That will make lots of positive effects to the nation's economy in the future. But I disagree with a unreasonable budget. How about you? Do you think that national cerebrations are a waste of government money?

I dont think thats its a waste of money my country are hosting this years olympic games and our government have spent millions of pounds on it. The event will get the nation interested in sport and get viewers from around the world it will get everbody to cheer the nations on and unify us. With all of the violence that is going on in the world we need a little celebration from time to time.

I don't think so. It is very important to celebrate national or independence day. People of a nation have to know about the history of their country and the celebration is a way to commemorate these historical events.

I have the same sentiments as yours. As long as the government does not spend too much of the taxpayers' money on very ostentatious celebrations, we should always commemorate events that are part of our history and heritage. These events have helped shaped our country. It's part of the reason why our country is what it is today. Celebrating these instills in us patriotism and love for our country.
