Engineering courses needs much knowledge in mathematics but i think the difficulty of the subject just depends on the instructor. I am also an engineering student, i it is truly hard to pass math subject in our college. Mathematics is very needed in this type of courses. However, it is a funny thing that after graduation, many engineers think if when they will you those mathematics symbols they have learned in school like in calculus. LOL. Gud luck on your college life by the way. I don't know much about industrial engineering but i may help you on the subjects related to engineering. Actually all minor subjects of engineering are just the same with each other.

I'm a computer engineering student. I actually wonder also when we will use those crazy out of this world formulas and solutions from calculus. Haha. . However, it is fun to study engineering . Good luck. The difficulty of the course depends on the school and instructor anyway.

i agree with you many of our division student failed in math due to poor teaching and another class student top from the college due to the good teacher
