That would be my dog, he was a beautiful mixed breed and a wonderful watch dog. My parents had him stay outside all year round which was not the best thing to do. The weather in the winter time was sometimes sooo cold. One of the neighbors even came to our door one day and straight out asked my mom why we have the dog outside all year round. I was too young to do anything about it, of course. They (parents) claim they tried to keep him in the first year but he cried so much they had to let him out. But do you know where they tried to let him stay in, in the basement by himself! There's no love and comfort in the basement we had for him all alone. I swear some people shouldn't breed little own have pets sometimes. :( I remember one time when he was older than just a few years, I believe, they did bring him in the house after a bath or something, but he acted so wild and ran all over. That was due to the fact we never trained him when he was younger to be in the house and he was just so happy to be let off that chain he was tied up to 24/7.

I'm sorry to hear that your most treasured gift didn't work out how it should have. I hate when animals are penalized for things they cannot control. Did you ever confront your parents about how they should have been a more responsible owner to the little pup later on in life?I have a Razorback,Kingfish,Watchdog,Pitbull. We got him at 4 weeks old, much earlier than we thought.I think getting him so early really allowed us to mold him the way we wanted him to be.The first couple months with him(Stone)was a nightmare but it all paid off hes an awesome dog.My boyfriend and I see him more as a friend. When we watch tv he sits up on the couch like a human an slumps his back while resting his paws on his legs lol.Hes a riot.I belive letting him bond and be free to roam and protect the house made him the way he is because he feels the love we give him.If we had locked him up outside his whole life he would definately not be our Stone.

I think i do not remember any of the gifts given to me as a prize. my parents or my mom are fond of giving us everything she thinks we need and we want if she has extra money. I guess i just value some more than others and all of the gifts i received are precious to me because my mom teaches us about valuing the things given to us.
