It's been a year, gawd! Me and my friends planned it for several times, but it never happen.
We've always been wanting to go to Puerto. The thing is, it only made to our list but never become our destination. Can someone tell me about it. Is it really beautiful there?

I've also been there certain times. Of course, Boracay's better in terms of land capacity.
If you're looking for a place where you can commune with nature, I suggest you skip this place. It's summer and Puerto Galera is teeming with tourists and locals alike. It's crowded and the beach is not as beautiful as it used to be. It got commercialized a lot.
But if your just looking for some time off, swim and enjoy the beach, then feel free to visit Puerto Galera :D

I been there several times, maybe around 4 times. In that place where we go last summer outing here in the office. It is really beautiful place to visit.Quite small compare to Boracay but the water is really clear and the sand is really fine too. There are some fire dance and other activities during nights. You better visit it so you could experience the fun and beauty of the place.

It's been almost five years since I went to Puerto Galera and I can tell you that back then, the place is really beautiful. It's a very ideal place for those who love to swim and engage in water sports. Unfortunately for me, I don't know how to swim so when all my friends dived in to snorkel and admire the corals, I stayed in the boat
. Don't expect the sand on the beach to be fine because it is very rocky and I suggest that when you wade in the shore to wear slippers because these rocks are combined with corals and can cut your feet.
I know also that the port or pier in Batangas is already improved so you will find the trip to Puerto Galera very enjoyable. If this will be your first time to set foot on a boat, then I suggest you take those over the counter anti-vertigo pills to help. I have had my sea legs since I was seven so I have had no problem even when my friends were all swooning because according to them the waves were already high. I've had higher waves in Dumaguete and Iloilo. I do hope that your planned trip to Puerto Galera pushes through, especially this summer. Avoid Puerto though during the Holy Week season because aside from the increased rates for most inns, the place is also jam packed with tourists.

I've experienced that already, when some people are planning to go there then it won't continue.
But nevertheless at least I've been there last summer 1994 when my mother brought us with my brother in Puerto Galera. That was the time that my mother was a Professor in DLSU Manila. That is actually a summer trip of Math Department.
It is really nice to be there. I've even collected the marbles there. Unfortunately one of our companion had stepped the sea urchin so chances are she wasn't able to enjoy the excursion.
