Greg Chappell once again targets India.

Greg Chappell has now gone overboard with his criticism about India.Greg Chappell said that Indians were not interested in test cricket in tour down under and it was too hard for them to compete.According to him test cricket is hard not only for India but all subcontinent teams. His comments were not just restricted to cricket but to India as a country too.He attacked Indian culture by saying , culture of India is such that if you put your head above parapet someone will shoot it.Britishers taught them really well to keep their head down.Well Greg forgot that Aussies were whitewashed in their last tour to India , and recently Pakistan have whitewashed England,so how-come weak subcontinent teams managed to do that?Greg Chappell has been a big failure as coach in domestic and international level ,and lately he has been failure as Aussies selector too.We can understand the criticism related to cricket, but attacking Indian culture and people with stupid interpretations has exposed racist side of him.Is it another gimmick to sell a book? share your views.

What ever be the intention of Greg Chappell's, there is some fact about Indian Team's approach to Test cricket and ODs. During their tour in England and in Australia, after big failure in test matches, they showed better performance in ODIs. Certainly they show more performance in t-20 matches. Most of the Indian players are preparing for 20-20 format cricket matches. Money influence of IPL has affected Indian cricket. Harbhajan Singh is one of the notable example for it.

Well i agree that Indians had quite unprofessional attitude towards test cricket and they have struggled overseas for quite a while now,but its not because reasons which Grieg mentioned, like Indians lack leadership qualities, they are punished if they try to take responsibility ,or they are totally dependent on their parents to make decisions of their life.Cricket comment is just an excuse , he was just showing his true colors.

Indians should care less about Mr Chappell. Its in the nature of Australians to play other games besides Cricket and as we all know Greg has some sour past with Indians. But we don't blame him entirely I mean look at our team ,we lost almost all overseas matches with a huge margin.I am not trying to blame our team but we should accept the fact that Rahul gone and Sachin's retirement just around the corner our Indian team is more of a one day and T-20 side.Until we dont have some solid Test batsmen and bowlers we should stop playing test cricket.

Very true, India has performed poorly in overseas matches ,hence criticism from different cricket experts and fans is expected and justified ,however the reasons Chappell has given are absurd and far from logic. Thanks a lot for your comment.

Let us see the truth in his statements. he has a lot of substance when he says that Indians lack leadership qualities. They do not perform well as a team.People are greedy and selfish. they try to pull down anyone who is attaining success. That is a typical Indian nature. Instead of abusing Greg we must look within and correct all our short comings

I respect your optimistic approach, however Indian professionals have a good name in companies all over the world,so i dont think interpretation of egoistic and to an extent racist person like Grieg holds any credibility. Its not that India has not achieved overseas victory, barring these two series they have been quite competitive since Ganguly took over as captain.Recent failures is not because of reasons which Grieg mentioned, its because money and glamor has taken over.I have met many guys similar to Grieg Chappell in my professional life, these guys read a book or two about India and then show as if they know more about India than Indians themselves. Moreover last time when Aussies came to India they suffered a whitewash, none of our cricket experts made any racist comments against Australians. Thanks a lot for your comment.

Well he need some publicity for his book so that no body ask Greg chappel? who? after seeing his name in the cover page as a writer. And Indian team need not to learn anything from him or may I say he is not at all that person who can be a teacher after his continuous failure as coach in all format of cricket and even as a selector? I think at least he should shut up, and think twice before commenting anything about the cricket, the gentlemen's game because " under arm bowling" is a dark chapter of the history of cricket like " body line bowling" and under arm bowling was done under the captaincy of another chappel. He has always attacked India and will continue in future also may be more racist comment. I just want to say to him "just f*** off and get a life, you old racist idiot."

I agree with you completely, he may have been a great player during his playing days, but in later part of his life he has been a big failure in every assignment he took.Just because a cricket team of a country is not in good form , you making virulent comment about culture of a country is extremely disappointing to say the least. Some people are still living in colonial age and Grieg is one of them. Thanks a lot for your comment.
