Spring Break

Does anyone get to watch what goes on in Spring Break when supposedly responsible young adults vacation from their colleges for a week or two. If these are our future lawyers, doctors, etc, and study hard and maybe get good grades, how is it they can act so irresponsibile when they come to beaches, lakes etc to relax? I had to shop yesterday at Target and there were 8 young women standing by the door as you go out all in bikinis. Barely anything to leave to the imagination. As I walked outside there is a airplane above my head flying with 4 words. Trojan the hard one. Seriously? And I guess my main question is if the economy is in such a horrible position and gas almost 4.00 a gallon here, who ARE these parents that can say yes honey take my escalade and borrow my condo and just go and take my credit card and have fun. I know you have finals in a few weeks and you just need to go lay out on the beach. I have never seen so much lack of respect for parents, so many getting drunk they puck right in front of you, will leave all kinds of trash in parking lots, their idea of food is carrying out suitcases of beer in each hand. It boggles my mind and I just want to know how so many of these kids get to do this. then last week on the news is a girl complaining that her birthcontrol is 3,000.00 in college???? REALLY? I hate to say it but if I had been in college, and did some of the stuff these young adults are doing, no matter what my age my parents would have had a belt on my butt. We have already had a shooting between two night clubs on the street, and we usually can depend on a couple of deaths from falling off balconys, or being in the ocean and not watching the flags, and cannot tell you how many get put in jail for dealing, or just having drugs on their possession. also its a crying shame how many wreck their cars, or should I say parents cars? I think i am really glad I went in the Army I learned tradition, respect, and loyalty and pride rather than running around half nude, drunk, and driving like a bat out of h---! Oh I can also tell you when I had a boat on a lake, we used to take the kids to a place you could eat at by boat. it was a nice way to have a nice evening We got our boat in the slip, and was heading up to the restaurant, this boat load of spring breakers come up to the dock and litterally hit the dock which meant the boats that people owned theirs shook and could dent and chip their boats. They would laugh and say NOT OUR BOAT. Meaning they had rented the boat and had no idea what damage could incur to another boat in the same docks. Anyone else have to deal with Spring Breakers in your area?

Who in their right mind would want to come to Pa. for spring break? Most people are trying to head to warmer climates instead of cold like here. I have never had to deal with them or gone on a Sping Break, and I am glad. My mother and Aunt used to go to Key West during spring break, and they have quite a few stories about how irresponsible the kids can be. I am sure some of them are A sudents and responsible when they are home, and then turn into drunk monsters when they are away. It seems they think what they can do whatever they want when they are away. It kind of reminds me of New Years Eve. People think the drunker they get, the more fun they have had. I just don't understand it, or how parents can spend the money to let their children act like they do!
