Though Sachin is one of the greatest batsmen age was not on his side.He will be celebrating his 39th birthday on 24th April and I guess with all those injuries over the years he don't have the physical capability to give what it takes to be on the Indian side. What do you people think?

Surely dravid has shown the courage to retire. And BCCI have given Sachin the retirement time as he wishes.. So its only up to sachin to say when he should retire. Sachin has been not performing well in recent past, but in Asia cup the condition is different. so i think he will retire if he not perform well in Asia cup.

Actually retirement of Dravid is very similar to that of Ganguly. Dhoni and selectors had other plans and Ganguly was not fitting in that , hence they must have suggested him to retire gracefully , same is happening with Dravid. No 3 position is very important in test cricket hence selectors must have decided to play a young batsman on no 3 so that when India tours SA and Eng in 2014,he is regular in the team with some experience. Also India will play at home for a while now, so its perfect time to try youngsters.Whether selectors and Dhoni will give chance to deserving youngsters or not to replace Dravid is debatable though. In case of Sachin ,well we can easily make out that he is in good books of BCCI president selectors and Dhoni,so he will keep playing until he wants to retire. He wont be forced into retirement.

Anyway all cricketers going to follow the steps of dravid one day. It is there intention whether to announce retirement or not. We don't have any rights to decide the players future.
