How do you feel on rainy days?

I have heard of a lot of people that feel sad when its raining, but I kinda like it. I live on a tropical island so it's hot everyday, except when it rains. I also enjoy the way it sound when the raindrops hit the leaves of the plants I have in my garden. It's specially loud on the leaves of taller plants like bananas and breadfruit. In the end, I prefer rainy days to sunny ones, how about you?

Rainy days is my favorite season. Just like you, I live in a tropical hot place. Seldom it rains. I love the melody of the raindrops. It is so nice to hear. On the other side, I feel sad because of the people who are soak in the rain for the reason that they don't have a place or house to shelter. And rain causes floods if it is heavy. Every time it rains so hard, our city will be flooded which I don't like.

I'm lucky to live in the lower parts of a mountain, so even if it rains a lot the inclination of the ground takes the rain away so I haven't really considered that possibility. However there are places that flood quite easily and I would think it is bad when that happens. Do you live at ground level or are you on higher floors?

I am just like you. I love the rain. I like the quiet it brings, like the whole world stops and just stay still. I love spending rainy days inside the house, just watching movies while covered with blanket and sipping hot chocolate.

Right? There's no one using machines outside so everything remain peaceful and quiet, and staying in bed covered is great because its cold outside so you don't get uncomfortably hot. Rainy is the best weather there is :D.

I love the way the sky looks on a gloomy dreary day like when it's going to rain or storm. I also like the sound of rain. I do like rain and know that it is good for the earth and for us, but on days that I need to do something and it hinders those plans, I don't like it.
Hearing rain on a tin roof sounds so good.

Yeah, it's true. It is hassle when you have something to do and there's this rain, though I still love it. What I don't like is the storm, and then there would be flash floods, I can't go out and do the stuffs I want to do outside.

I love rainy days! It feels so cooling and refreshing! I enjoy the smell of the rain (but I heard it from somewhere that the smell indicates that there's acid in the rain... but it's okay, I still like the smell xD).
I like to cuddle myself on my bed during rainy days~
or sitting in the bus and watching the water splatter onto the pavement.

I had a friend who said that rainy days are depressing... but nah, I don't think so! :D Same like you, I prefer rainy days to sunny ones. :D hehe~

Today I learned something new :D. I thought the rain only smelled because of ozone and the bacteria partying on the humidity, but I searched and it is true, acid rain does smell. I haven't even though about it because I live on the country, so I don't even have to think about acid rain :). Do you live near an industrial complex? What I read said that the smell after acidic rain is unpleasant, so if you like it maybe that's not it. In here after the rain the smell that lingers is a sweet subtle one, and in some places near some types of plants you can smell the plants odor strongly. I specially love when it has been raining for a long time and suddenly the sun comes out, everything is shinny and smells great :D.

We have the same feeling. I love rainy days too. It is associated with sadness because the sky is gray, people cannot go outside easily and prefer to stay inside. Unlike when it is sunny, people associate it with fun, people can go anywhere, the sun shining brightly. There is something special about raining, it seems relaxing, the weather is cold and breezy, you stay inside your house and bond with your family, sleep all day, sip some hot soup and hot drinks. During rainy days, people stop for a while from their busyness and find more time to relax, read books, etc.

Funnily I rarely go outside anymore even if its sunny :p. But maybe that's it, I enjoy relaxing, a perfect day for me is on in which I do nothing stressful. I love sleeping, eating hot and spicy food and reading, so maybe that's why I love rain so much :D.

during rainy days i feel like sleeping all day or eating icecream something cold and sweet and watching movies with my husband or cooking a meal that we can share. i love the feeling of rainy days but i have rainy days if we have plans of going out.

You eat ice cream while its raining? That would make me too cold :p. I like to eat really hot stuff, like really hot soup, or spicy food, like curry or chilli :D. That way even if I get too warm I don't sweat since the air is cold :D.

Actually the weather has been rainy here for quite a long time. I wonder whether it has broken the record here. But it seems we haven't seen the sun for a month already. I really don't like the rainy season since everywhere is moist. And the temperature changes a lot. It is easy to lead to have a healthy problem. Besides, we can't have outdoor actvities if it is raining outside. It is boring to stay at home all the time.

If I don't have to go anywhere, I enjoy the rain. When it is hot, rain makes the temperature drop down and makes us feel cool. Rain is helpful to farming if it does not over-rain. In general, I feel good when it rains, especially when I stay home. I don't usually feel sad when it rains.

i have different feeling sometimes i like to have rain in the afternoon as every morning in my place is to warm. maybe a little rain would do to keep me less stressful. also, like to have rain during summer and not only during rainy season. the one i hate is when it rain for many days and does not stop it cause flooding and the area below my house is full of mud and likely to slip in the road. so o think a little rain and sunny day does make a good season that is well balanced.

I really love when it rains,I don't like summer. I don't like when the weather is too hot to bear that you don't even want to leave your house. But of course, I also don't like storm and typhoons.

I do feel like crying as well....
Rain is very vital in our life and in our surroundings, but sometimes we really can't deny the feeling of being annoyed especially if we are in our best attire and when we are on our way going out it will starting to rain..it's kinda annoying indeed. and the main reason i don't like rain sometimes is that i don't like to bring with me an umbrella.

I only dislike thunder when I'm asleep and a really loud one wakes me up. It's really bad because I find it almost impossible to fall asleep again after I have slept even a little, so waking up in the middle of the night is one of the worse things that could happen to me :p. During the day when I'm awake anyway thunder is only a minor nuisance, because I have to unplug electric stuff, and can't play in the computer :).

I feel very happy when it is raining.I like rainy season very much when compare to summer.That cool weather and when it is raining we will have some different smell.I like that smell also.And the sound of rain drops etc.It will be awesome.Until now i did not feel sad when it is raining.

Yes, the smell of that remains after earth gets wet is great :D. I love going to my backyard after it has rained to smell it. I once read that the smell is actually the bacteria on the earth going crazy because of the increase of humidity, but I love it so much I'm not bothered by that :D.

I am not crazy with rainy days! Rainy days can make me feel sad and depressed! Especailly when it rains more then one day in a row! Sometimes I can get this way on days that are overcast,too.It happens to alot of people!

i feel very lazy when its raining and i hate it when i need to walk in a wet pavement. but i love it when i am sleeping at night because its calming and the temperature is cold. being in a tropical country, i am used in both rainy and summer season. i do not want summer season also because it is terrible hot. i will choose rainy season still but hopefully it will not bring too much water causing floods.

For the farmers, I guess they will be happy especially those farming in the non irrigated regions who just wait for the rainy season so that their farms will be irrigated. As for the city dwellers, during rainy days they will experience heavy transport traffics, flooded roads because of clogged canals. It's really a inconvenience for employees reporting for work.
On the other hand especially in some provinces when it's raining, most people prefers to stay at home enjoying the quietness of the surroundings aside from the sounds of raindrops and sometimes thunder and lightning. I like it when it's raining too because it's more cooler.

I love rains but it depends. There are times I get this lonely mood and some times I feel so relaxed and happy. It's just feel so good and I love to sleep when it rains. :) I both love the sunshine and the rain just not that tropical kind of rain which usually visits us paired with lightning and thunder, that would be scary.lolz.

i love rain ,they said if you are in the church and after the mass ,when you go outside and the rain start to fall ,they start to call the rain as a blessings :) ,,i like the rain ,when goes on my face,i remember when i was young ,i used to play with my brother and sister we go outside in the house and feel like a shower of rain lol :),the rain is memorable to me,i never hate the rain. :) i love i t so much . :)
