I got this discussion from watching the movie In Time. So if you seen it then go for this discussion if not try for it any ways it never hurts. If you could live for ever with out dying as long as you have all the time in the world would you live your life in riches or would you try to help those that only have one day to live? I guess it would be nice to look 25 years old till the day you die? If you where to die would you want to die like the people in the movie did or would you want to go out in your own way?

I really love this movie my friend. I have seen it a couple of weeks ago. I love the concept of the movie. The questions you have thrown to us are quite intriguing. I would want to have a life like we have now. Though it is very complicated way of life, it is better this way because we don't compete who lives long or not. In the movie, everybody are busy lifting their time. You are considered rich if you've got all the time of how many centuries. Poor there are those who have very less.

I got the question my friend. However, I would be inclined to answer differently. To answer it, if I would live a live where time is now a very crucial needs, I would rather live a life like that of Justin. They are happy and true. Their is unity in their area. Even though there is crisis in time.

The question was about the movie not our reality and if you like our now life but how would you live your life if you where in a time like the movie? You are right the more time you have the richer you are the less money the poorer you are. That is there form of money in the movie but you can always spend it on whatever you want and give it to whomever you want. Me if I was living in this movie I would share all the time I have no matter how much time I have left. If it was a lot if it wasn't a lot I would find way to get more time to see my kids grow up and then when I was ready to go I would want to go out on my own terms and not watch my time run out.

First off, I have to say that I haven't seen the movie, but it does sound like something that I would be interested in seeing, so I am going to have to see if I can find it. With that said, I think that for me, I would be one of the people that would try to help those people that only had one more day left to live because I really can't see myself enjoying the prospect of being rich.

You should see it. Its not too long of a movie but its worth the money to see it.

Hi there ShyBear88! If I am an immortal, it would be very sad because you will see all your loved ones pass away. I will probably spend my life with them and when they are gone, I will spend my life helping those who are in need. I have not seen the movie but it sounds interesting.

Have you seen the movie? Because the movie is pasted on time so the more time you have the richer you are the less time you have the poorer you are. When you see the movie I think you'll be able to better answer the question. Me if I had a lot of time I would give some to people that need it and to my loved ones if they where running out of time. I would also try to find away to help those with not a lot of time find more time.

In time's story is quite interesting. I even came to think what if instead of money we did have time as our means of expenditure. I guess If I have all the time in the world, I will help those who are in need. It is sad to see your loved ones die especially if you see them die in front of you just because they don't have much time.

I agree I would help out my friends and family and even other people that I don't know. I would do what I could and when I was ready to go I would give it away what I had left to those that need the time for a little bit longer. I would also want to die my own way vs just running out of time.

If we think to it, on that movie, no one can be an immortal. All lives have time. The only difference is they know when they will die, unlike us, we don't know when we will die. No one can be immortal because, if you observe them, they pay there leisures and need by the time of their lives just like money. Money don't exists in the movie either. It is hard that you will know the time that you will die but let us just accept it. In the movie again, LOL, they can prolong their life, however, they will still die. No one really wants to be an immortal unless you are enjoying now what you have. Who will want to live either, if at present he or she is suffering from pain, poverty, and othen unlikable things in the world.

I actually just watched this movie last night. I think that the only thing I liked about it was that you would know when you were going to die. I mean you would be able to spend your very last minutes and seconds doing whatever or spending them with who you love. Now if I was to be "immortal" in a sense, I would try to help those who were about to die. Also, looking like I am 25 even if technically I was 100 would be pretty cool too. One of the perks!! I think the way that they die is quick and as painless as possible. That would be the way I would want to go out. I wouldn't want to suffer.

When I watched the movie with my husband it didn't look painless at all. It was sudden and sharp. You don't get to choice how you get to spend the last moments with when you think of it. The guys mother didn't get to be with her son when it happen the police officer didn't get be with the people he wanted to. So when you think of it it can happen at any second any where especially with people coming and just taking what time you do have from you. If I had all the time in the world I would share it with others around me to give them more time with those they want to be with or at least be happy for a little bit and have things they don't get to have normally. Me I wouldn't just want to die and watch the seconds go by I would want to go out in my own way with out all my time running out. Yeah it is a perk to dying looking like your 25 vs what ever age you really are.
