One of the importance of reading a discussion, the responses and the comments of such responses is for users to be able to rate another user for his contribution to the MyLot community.
If one user does not read, how can he or she rate a user what is due to him or her? And do you know that your rating might affect your earning as well? As you know, MyLot earnings is not constant and vary due to many things...your rating may affect your earning as well.
I just wonder if you rate another user as well... Well, do you?

I do rate other users as well but not everybody. Sometimes I just don't know what to think about the respons. Then I think it's better not to rate as to choose between + or -

Hello
I'm really not into rating people discussions. some people really need to discuss serious issues to people. I enjoy give adive as well as recieving them I love to write all the time. so I try to be positive to people answers all the time and try not to be mean or ugly about it.

Until you reach a user rating of 100 (the number beside your username) you cannot rate others.
By then you should have found time to read the FAQs and have understood how the rating system works.
That information can be found in these links:

It's great to know that you rate people when they've posted something good.
By "don't really like" means that a post that negatively impacts the MyLot community and NOT useful at all, right?
Because otherwise, you can just leave them as it is.

I always try to read and understand a discussion or response post before I respond to it. I also feel that your earnings vary by how you respond to discussions and response posts such as: responses that related to the discussion, tagging, uploading images, rating, length of discussion or response post, correct grammar and spelling etc. Some will say that some of these things doesn't matter but mylot would not have them here for nothing.
I just try to give my best to the task and help to make mylot an informative and creditable social network. Finally, I checked out your website and blog and I was very impress, your efforts is an example of what everyone here should shoot for, well written and informative responses. ...

sinful rose rating does not mean you rate the person as good or bad, no no no .it is rating the discussion, is it logic al is it
understandable and appealing, does it have anything insulting in it or flaming.this is not a popularity test, just rate the writing ,forget who wrote as you ar not rating the person but the
discussion. yes I rate discussions all the time and it does affect our earnings. blue stars and red make the most money here.it is not a may, it is a given fact. now forget who wrote a response and determine which response is the best response.I read the guidelines and the FAQ's five years ago when I joined and reread every so ofte
n to refresh my memory.

Indeed, the rating does not mean you rate the person as good or bad. You don't even rate the discussion like you do in facebook. The rating system, if you had read the first page of the discussion is to rate a discussion, response or comment whether you deem it as useful for the MyLot community. If you think that the discussion, response or comment is not useful and negatively impacts the community, then it is suggested to rate it negatively. If you don't think strongly on either two, you can just leave them as they are.

That is good practice, almond24.
You rate a post positively when the post is useful.
Just leave it, if you don't feel strongly about it = "neutral".
