in reality i think you can spend much more time to ceate discussions than answering to others also because you must think abut topics,right question to pose in it and so on...probably when you have not much time to dedicate to mylot just answering will be a work faster than create so much discussions daily...

Hi erjnsimon. I don't think I have actually posted any discussion at all in over two weeks and I am barely able to respond in the last few days. I just don't have the time lately and also the time change has messed me up. I am so tired by evening sometimes, I can't make myself do anything hardly on the internet. Maybe it will pick up for both of us soon. I hope so.

It sounds as if you are very busy. I try to come to MyLot every day but there are times when I do not have the time or the energy to do that. When I do come I try to comment on as many discussions as I can. I really need to create more discussions. Good luck with your school requirements and exams.

I guess it do happens to some of us. We logged in, decide to look for a discussion that we thought we can relate to, but once we start typing there were times that we can not think of anything to type. Our mind is searching for ideas we thought we have earlier but all of sudden it was gone, as if our mind is block or something. You have said, before you can create 5 discussions in a day and can still post comments on other member's discussion. That is really something, me I can create the most is two but not often. This days I just searched for a topic which I thought I can relate but the most is 5 topics.

that happens to me too but i try to just relax and when i am not in the mood to be here on mylot then i don't force myself. after a long while of not being here, sometimes i also don't know where and how to start. but eventually i get through it. i understand, when i was reviewing from my exams, i couldn't come here too. but i chose to focus on my review because it was more important and my top priority and also i had to make the most of the time since i only review by myself because going to a review center costs so much money. the good thing is, i made it. i passed the exam and now i am a registered nurse . i am proud of myself because i passed by just studying on my own and just by taking the exam once. so i also would like to advice you that it is better you focus on your studies more. mylot will always be here but our chance to get good education is not always there. good luck on your studies and everything.

since mylot is not the only thing in life...u r bound to think this way....anyways happy mylotting...

There are times we can't think of anything to post and don't really feel like responding either. I am sort of feeling that today, but I think I may get off for a few hours, do something else and come back on right before work. Good luck with your studies.

If you can't think of discussions to start, why not just stick to responding to discussions until you find some inspiration? That's what I do. There's no point in starting a discussion if you have nothing to discuss or no ideas, you know? . Good luck though. I'm sure your 'writers block' will pass soon (with any luck). If you are money motivated you will do it regularly even though u like it or not. But if you are here for knowledge sharing at times you share experiences and surf the discussions to gain information. It happened with me too, i log in once in a while and when i am logged in i only restrict myself to mylot without even thinking about other work. Since it is difficult to do multi tasking while on mylot. We need to give valuable recommendations or suggestions to help the fellow mylotters for which we need to "THINK" which makes mylot time consuming at times . Happy Mylotting

I was away for months and recently just back mylotting again. Just keep logging in when you have spare time, so you won't miss a lot from your friends and other mylot members.

I do experience that sometimes. When i started my lot I am sble to post some discussion topic and eager to comment on many discussion. Now, I can only post 1 topic or none at all and I chose topics whom I will reply to. It is not that I am preoccupied with work or anything but it is just like that. It is the same when the an author cant write at the moment. It is called writer's block. It can be because you lost your inspiration or just plain tired. Or sometimes I cant post anything because what I thought was already posted. Lost of good topics to discuss about. Because as a personal choice I do not like posting topics for the sake of posting. If you are preoccupied with school now, focused on it first then when it is settled log in to mylot. It is more efficient than doing both things at the same time.

I sometimes have days like that. There are times I'm unable to initiate any discussions but can make contributions, and then there are days where I've no ideas to post but then it comes unexpectedly. You won't always be able to enagage in or initiate discussions in mylot and considering your schedule also includes school work which is high priority stuff :), take your time and don't beat up about it. Focus on the important stuff, namely your school work and exams and whenever possible, pay us a visit in mylot. Best of luck in your studies :)
