Two months ago I dreamt about me bitten by a huge snake on my forehead. It really scared me to death knowing that I feared snakes terribly. My younger sister, who was sleeping on the adjacent room, heard me sobbingly crying. She tried to wake up me up but it took her a few more minutes of shaking my shoulder before I woke up. Thereafter, she asked me of what I had seen in my dream. It took me awhile to remember what I saw in my dream. I told her that I was bitten by a huge snake. She laughed out loud and told me that it's just a product of my wild imagination. Moreover, she told me to stop watching movies which features snakes so it will not stick in my mind. I went back to sleep but failed to do so because of the fear that I might see that huge snake again if ever I will shut my eyes again. Since, I can't go back to sleep I turned my PC and opened my Facebook account. I posted something on my wall telling about the dream that I had just encountered a few moments ago. There, a friend sent me a message telling me that sooner or later I will discover that someone will going to betray me. I just laughed it off. Few weeks later, I still get haunted with that snake that bit on the forehead. So paranoid and scared, I tried digging in some information in the Internet about dream interpretation. And this What I have found out... According to the Definitive Guide For Snake Dream, that if you are "dreaming of being bitten by a snake" means that something that you've been avoiding because it is intimidating or uncomfortable must be given utmost attention. This idea made me fall into deep contemplation of is there exactly such situation happening in my waking life? What about you? Have encountered an odd dream? How do you interpret you own dream?

I know two people who's been given the great wisdom to interpret dreams. The first one was named Joseph who interpret the dreams of two jail inmates. The best was when he interpret the dream of Egypt's Pharaoh which turns out to be very accurate because the interpretation comes from God. Another was named Daniel who interpret the dream of the King during his time. Both of these dreams, it is God who gave wisdom to them to interpret dreams. Therefore, if you want to have an accurate interpretation of your dreams, it must come from God. If it comes from people, it may not be accurate. Anyway, visions and dreams have ceased since the completion of the bible.

Those were the most sharp interpretation of dreams that I have read so far. Nothing beats God's interpretation of our dreams.

I usually just figure that the reason i dreamed some thing was because of some thing that had already happened in my life and my mind was just telling me how it saw whatever the situation was. For example i dream alot about calling 911 (The emergency number here in the US) and no one answers or it doesn't even ring. I feel its because i cant get help when I need it in real life situations.

I do get your point. Somewhat it gives us clear representation of what is really happening whenever we are on our conscious self.

As I know almost nothing about it I take them as a warning and an advice from the spiritual world. For example when I'm running away from someone I notice that if I ask my self when I get deep inside in meditation that I'm not facing something that I was supposed to. And so on.

Most my dreams are so odd that I actually consider a normal dream without any dangerous, unpleasant or plain idiotic situation to be the odd one. Usually something is chasing, bitting or shooting me. Anyway, I rarely try to interpret my dreams since I decided that any scary dream means I am probably paranoid to some extend and the most probable cause is that my subconscious mind is worried about something I am probably not even aware of on conscious level. And I see no reason to worry about such dreams when I'm awake. The stuff that is very similar to reality, I take at face value. If I participate in lotery with certain numbers and win, I go and try it in real life (and always get half the numbers right since I always forget the other half from my dream). If I dream about being hungry and being in grocery store ... well there is no hidden meaning for me to interpret in such dreams :)

I agree with you! Sometimes, whenever I have dreams that is not odd, I do not pay attention with it. And I always forget the details of it too.

I used to have a dream interpretation dictionary but I think I threw it out. I do some research now on the Net at times if I feel like it, about my dreams but haven't lately. Last night I dreamt I had a real live baby dragon or two in a box and I was supposed to mail it to someone, and then suddenly I was left stranded somewhere with no one to get me to where ever it was I was supposed to go. I saw the baby dragon sleeping in the box and then moving on the floor or something. It's wierd cause I love those kind of dragons and this one was so life like but I know there isn't any such thing as dragons. Ha.

That's pretty weird dream and somewhat interesting, though. Well, pertaining to dragons, according to Chinese beliefs, the dragon is the most powerful mythical creature and they revere them just like their gods and goddesses. I just you better make further research about dragon so you can have a substantial interpretation on your dream.

I often encountered in odd dreams or bad dreams. Sometimes I realize that I was dreaming, then I try to wake up. Sometimes It work sometimes not. When I wake the I sleep again my last dream continue..., It's really odd! Sometimes my dream comes true like "DEJA VU" or to be the opposite of the real word...,
