Not enough time in the day

I have so much to do today and most days that I fell overwhelmed sometimes, and don't know if I'll get everything done. Between my lotting and answering surveys and housework and walking my dog and cooking supper and spending time with my husband when he comes home from work, I don't get much time to read or write, oh, my writing has fallen by the wayside lately, which reminds me I should get writing because I'm writing a ghost mystery story and I can't wait to see how it ends, ha,! ha.! Anyway, I have to get off the net and do some housework , now. Your thoughts, my lot, friends!!

I feel the same way. I used to workout a lot but now, most of my time is being eaten by work, and I hate work. If I had that much time, I'd spend extra hitting the gym again, like office.

I guess those things would just pass up as self-rewards, like a pat in the back, whenever we've done a great job.

most of people felt the same thing almost you don't have time for yourself because of doing many things. Sometimes we forgot ourselves why not sometimes we pamper ourselves to release stress. Why don't we try to go for spa just one day for sure a different experience and relaxation we get. Give a little extra time for yourself.

I need a nap after reading this discussion...lol You are one busy lady. I don't keep as busy as I would like during the day when at home. I could be cleaning out closets, doing laundry, running the dishwasher but instead I am leaving to meet a friend for lunch. No telling where I may end up after lunch. Later I'll come back home and get back on the internet so nothing much gets accomplished in the house today. Then I might get a sudden burst of energy tomorrow and do all kinds of things around here.

I know exactly what you mean! It seems like as soon as I get off work, settle down at home, the day is practically gone! And the sad part is I'm always off work by 4 PM. . Especially when I come on MyLot, and I wind up being on here for an hour or hour and a half - totally ignoring my housework or the to do list I make for myself every day. *rolls eyes*. It's ridiculous. Maybe it's not that there aren't enough hours in the day but we don't manage our time well enough to get everything done. . happy mylotting!

i agree with you. i am a working mom and 24 hours a day is not really enough for me. i need to get ready fro work at 5am, work from 7am to 5pm or more, be at home to cook for dinner and teach my son. its hard to manage time and sometimes i wish to be a stay at home mom because i do not want to compromise my time for my son. but i have no choice yet so i try my very best to balance everything. i just wish there is another 24 hours in a day making it 48 hours, lol!

I beleive we all have days like that where we just want to do what we want to do for the day and not what we actually have to do for the day. Relax enjoy the warm weather (is it warm where you are?) and just do something for you today. Everything you have to do will still be there tomorrow and you can tackle it then.

Thanks, but I did all my chores and still had time to relax in the evening with my husband. I watched a great movie last night, haven't done that in awhile.

i wish i could split myself in half some days. i work monday, wednesday, friday mornings plus i work for my hubby sometimes too, plus mylot plus the house and upkeep of it and the family and right now i am making mini scrapbooks for my daughter's birthday party which is in a couple of weeks and will consist of me cutting them out, gluing and punching holes in them. (i am using old game cards as my cardboard, covering them with scrapbook paper then using a ring that you would use for a loose leaf binder (you can get these at staples). so right now i am sort of busy. plus we are going away for the weekend too!

That is certainly a lot to accomplish in the day. I wish you luck in all of these fine endeavors. Where do all of the hours of the day go to anyway? You can have the whole day ahead of you with nothing but time to kill and before you know it you have run out of time to do the things you want to do. We often wish for more hours in a day but then we would have to find more things to fill the time with.
