Become a coder

Hi Mylotters, I want to become a coder. I think "PHP" is a good programming language but I don't know how I could learn php. Could someone help me about it?

Just a little thought, It is more appropriate to call PHP as server side scripting language rather than programming language. We can skip the definition, though. It just, do you want to "code" website only? If yes, then PHP would be fine enough. I highly recommend www.w3schools.com for learning PHP.. They have lots of good tutorials there..

hello brother,, i suggest you started by the simple php tutorial from this site : 1. http://www.w3schools.com/ 2. http://www.java2s.com/ or you can start to read the Best Practices PHP book like, Effortless E-Commerce with PHP and MySQL, by Larry Ulman sometimes i'll review this book, its very interesting book :)

If your really interested about PHP then you can read the tutorials in PHP.net and other sites there is a lot of it and is free to all interested like you.. Hope you will enjoy and you can make program that you really want..:))

If you have to do some scripting using PHP, or HTML that is cool. There are a lot of tutorials out there on the net. However, if you actually wanna be a coder or a programmer, then you might want to actually look into a programming language. Such as C/C++, Visual basic, or whatever. If you're a complete beginner, I'd reccommend Visual Basic, as it is easy to get started and is easy in general. Then move up as you go along.
