My aunt in USA sent us a box load of different flavors of tea. Apparently, we are coffee lovers, .... not tea lovers and so the box is untouched still, and we received it about a couple of months ago already! LOL. By any chance, what flavor of tea do you recommend the most for a tea-newbie like me so that i may be able to become a tea lover as well? thanks so much for your help!

I am kind of a tea novice as well. I really don't care for green tea, so personally I would not suggest starting with that. I would say go buy the flavored kind, I think there is a box of Celestial-brand tea with multiple fruity flavors like blueberry, orange, raspberry, etc - try that and add a little sugar, milk, or honey depending on your preference. You could also try chai or vanilla tea, and mix in a little milk or soy milk - that's pretty good. I also really liked Earl Grey tea. I would suggest all of those. I would not suggest anything that isn't flavored though, like regular Lipton tea. *shudders*. I don't like those at all!

I'm a tea lover, no let me correct that I'm a GREEN TEA lover. Green tea is a herbal tea and basically benefits me by calming my nerves, herbal teas on a whole tends to do that. Another benefit of drinking herbal green tea for me is that it provides antioxidants which promotes healthy living by repairing damaged cells in our bodies and enhancing the immnue defense system which lessens the risk of having cancer or contractiong any potential infections. Green tea is also largely promoted for its contribution to weight loss. Research has shown that green tea contains components that can be attributed to the "removal" of fat cells in the body. Another tea that I love is Chammomile tea, it's a relaxant which promotes reliefs from tension and stress, both physically and emotionally. I normally drink it just as I'm about to go to sleep, for a good nights rest. Those two teas are basically what works for me, hope this helps you some what and what else can I say but "welcome to the world of tea" :)
