many people equate the crucifix and the cross with the mashiyach ,believing that both are a represantation of the mashiyach`s death and our symbols that show their faith.but we must ask ourselves what are the origin of thees symbols?did they come into existence after yahushiwa died or where they around long before the mashiyach came on the scene?

Instead of commenting on your topic, I found intereresting to go through your discussion which made more more informative. Human imagination is beyond anything and our power of thinking has developed to this state of life. We almost know since when started living here as a civilized people and all that are happend on a phased manner as the geograpical diversity was absolutely different from each other. The transition from one generation to other and living standards and faith, belief, religion, god, demon and the same has its own importance in those days and which influenced everyone either way. 100s and 1000s of religins and faith were emerged and most of the people were forced to part of in any of the religion by birth. But for me, when I consider all these are just a huge novel, I think I can enjoy the stories and make our life more practical by getting the influence from these stories. As history was a study topic in my college, I have made a lot of research in various religions over the world and studied and analysed seperately. May be because of that I have come to a conclusion that free living is the best for a peaceful life and all these are better knowledgeable topics. I have learned a good lot of living guidence from Jesus and his crusification. For eating, some people do it by hand some use spoons & forks and some uses chop stics and even some are adopted still different methods. So, to kill people we can adopt any method and which was prevailed in those days were adopted by them. Whatever it may be, I love Jesus Christ - may be true or false, as long as I know him, I love him as a human being and his principles.

Hi, Happy to see you back in myLot. I though, just like other, after a twinkle, you also left the place and gone for ever. I had some internet problems and busy work schedules and could not come on line for a long for few days. As you said, importantly, we don't know what is what and how we are here. Form our ancestors and the books, we got as much knowledge and information with regard to our beloved God and in whatever form He exists, our mind sooths so much whenever we think of Him. Again, may be whatever it is, our mind get purified when we think of Him and that is what we needed. If He can do it by hiding somewhere, He does and we experiences. What else more!!!

I need to know more details about the crucifix things and where it came from, or how it became what it is today. What I am aware of is that many people are using the cross with a human person engraved in it, saying that it symbolizes Christ on the cross. Some use it for luck and others use it, believing that having it will make one a Christian. At first, I don't mind people having it every time, but when I read the scriptures, it has no reference or implication that we can use it for anything. What sayest thou?

It has nothing related to the Bible, it was just the Roman way of punishment.
