I haven't read the book, but I do like the movie, I've watched it several times, and always find something new, that I have missed.

yes because its actually very informative. i learned a great deal of facts not only those associated with history but with science as well. aside from that, i think the plot is really well crafted and i appreciate such great imaginations. i belong to a catholic country and many raised eyebrows about the book but really, it's not about the religion thing. its about the literary quality.

Yes I totally agree with you , it is just an art of fiction and nothing else, it all depends how much faith u have , it may not be real at all and I say even if it is real so what I still beleive Jesus as my personal saviour and all these things do not matter to me , so well I enjoyed the book ...

read it and love it. :-) it's fiction but really entertaining. Movie was not bad either but the book was better. i like the fast pace and it's never boring and the way it takes you from one location to another. it also led me to read another dan brown book - "Angels and Demons" which also a good read. Happy reading!!!

yes i like this book .. The Da Vinci Code is a mystery/detective novel by American author Dan Brown, published in 2003 by Doubleday. The novel is based on the controversial premise that there is a conspiracy within the Roman Catholic Church to cover up the true story of Jesus. The novel has helped generate popular interest in speculation concerning the Holy Grail legend and the role of Mary Magdalene in the history of Christianity. According to this premise, the Vatican knows it is living a lie, but continues to do so to keep itself in power.
