Hey fellow Mylotters, Anyone ever have any serious issues with Paypal? And if so would you mind sharing? I'm starting to collect a bit of money through my online earnings. I transfer everything to Paypal. And I just want to make sure I'm not going to lose my money anytime soon. Would anyone suggest using other methods such as Alert Pay or Liberty Reserve? Any experience good or bad with any of the mentioned above, would be nice to hear about. Thank you :)

Hi Sindrum, I asked that question before here and I got good feedback from myloters here which made me decide to sign up. I personally experienced that paypal is a very secured and fast way to purchase and receive money online. Their customer support is really good.

Since I only know paypal, I'd recommend you use it. To the best of knowledge, paypay is the best. It's probably important to put your money in several payment processors. Don't keep your money there. You send it because you are going to spend it soon, right. If you recieve income, transfer it right away to your bank account.

A pleasant day Sindrum91, With reference to your main topic, everytime I do transaction with Paypal, I always see to it that I keep an eye to monitor it. Because this is our hard earned money so I am really strict in transacting it. And if ever I do encounter a small issues, I suddenly contact them to give remedy to the problem and to avoid hassle. And I am thanking God for guiding me to do all my transactions with Paypal. Hope you can transact well with your Paypal as well. And you can also say a little prayer in your every decision so you are guided by the Angels of God. Have a blessed day friend.

So far, my experiences with Paypal are just doing great :). But if you want to read some sad story with Paypal, you can read http://www.paypalsucks.com/ Generally, if you follow their TOS very carefully, you should be just fine. And personally, my recent favorite e-payment processor is Liberty Reserve, because they have very much less fees compared to Paypal.. They also have excellent security measure, and it's easy for me to convert LR balance into my currency..

I didn't have any serious issues with them up until the last time I tried to get my check from them. I had asked for some money in my acct last Feb. and for some reason the check never reached me. This had never happened before. I had to get on the phone with them several times. The first time they said I had to wait a few more days before they could determine what to do, so I waited, still no check. Then they said they would be putting a hold on the money as I didn't get the check and that I should wait several more days (this was on the phone). I read my email and it said something entirely different about how I was to go about it but left it as what the girl on the phone told me and that she would put that hold on and send me another check. I waited for like 7-10 more days still no check. I called them up the third time and asked them where my money was and this time they said a hold was never put on that lost check! I then kind of demanded they put the hold on that time and even asked them for their first name and PP ID #. I was so ticked, it was for over $400.00, but no matter how much it, was it was my money and I didn't know where it was for like a month. The next day I had the money back in my acct. at least. Now I have to worry every time I request a check from them. I have it sent to my bank instead but that can be a slight inconvenience for me.

I have never had an issue with PayPal whatsoever. As a matter of fact, it's always been the easiest and most secure of its type. The only problem I've ever heard is from my dad who refuses to verify his account and was eventually told there was a PayPal limit to the amount of transactions he could perform until he verified it. As long as you verify your email and link it up to one of your personal accounts, I think it's pretty secure and reliable.
