crimes in the name of religion

How do you think about the people of religion to do evil ? example such as terrorist this happens a lot in my country,they generally lack an understanding about their own relegion,becouse relegious leaders were not there to justify such action.

I agree with you.Such people are fanatics.They have no understanding of their own religion. The truth is that all religions are the same. Killing people in the name of religion is a despicable act and those who kill or torture others in the name of their religion should be brought to books.

I'm not going to be sucked into defending the crusades. But I will say, that the reason for the crusades was that in 1065 Jerusalem ws taken by Islamic Turks and 3000 Christians living in Jerusalem were massacred statrting a chain of events which began the crusades. Came full circle in New York, jihadists killed about 3000 there too. The West was under attack when the Turks attempted to take Constantinople as well. When a group of people think that God wants them to conquer in His name it is wrong. The crusades were not begun by Europeans.

First of all, crime has always been a crime and it will forever be. I have read that the satanic religion kills people only when that person have done something awfully bad to the member. I don't know if this is true, maybe this is just one of those negative propaganda, but it seems only few people are members of this religion. And if they are, I don't know if they are going to share those information to us.

Hi Rohimmudin and welcome to my lot. Whether or not the terrorist know it or not God didn't send out murderers. And if they kill themsleves for religion sake then they don't know the true God! God wants us all to live by HIS laws and rules, not traditions of men! God created each and everyone of us and God was pleased with HIS creations! God loves all of us, HE does not love one of us more then HE loves anyone else.

Hi Runite and welcome to my lot.Have read the old testament it don't say anything about terrorist. God does tell us in many places to stand up for what is right not go around killing people for no reason. Where it does say about killing people in the old testament is usually where the people are not worshiping God and doing what is right in Gods eyes. Don't sound like you read the old testament with understanding. If you really want to understand the bible go listen to this man. They are brainwashed into believing whatever someone told them to believe. This usually begins when they are children because childrens minds are easier to mold "If you tell a lie long enough loud enough and often enough the people will believe it" (ironically that was said by Joseph Goebels one of Hitlers main henchmen)

Those people are just blinded by their own anger and think they are allowed to do anything. They just use their religion to explain why they want to do evil. Religions want us to live in peace, but some people use the words of the holy scripts to prove their "right" to kill. It has nothing to do with what religions are about

yes all religions do not teach to kill a certain adherents of other believers. I have read in the Old Testament that Moses and Harun or King Saul the Lord commanded to fight and kill all of them because they have broken their promise to God. crimes or violent acts in the name of religion sometimes often occur because of politics and power.
