Our spring craft sale is at our mall this weekend but with the beautiful weather...record breaking high temps everyone is out and about doing outdoors things. Last night you could have shot a cannon through the mall and not hit one person! Usually this is a great sale...the weather is usually warm enough for people to get out but there most of the time is tons of snow yet and people aren't busy doing yard work or riding motorcycle etc. Have you very had nice weather wreck a plan of yours? Stange isn't it? The weather being too nice!

I'm sorry, that has to stink.. So the only customers you got were probably ones who had to pick something up. I spent most of the day riding bikes and just enjoying the weather, but as supper came near,I had to go to the store. Well, here we are supposed to have scattered thunderstorms, perhaps you will have this too, (not severe ones, just enough to keep people from outside) and your sale will flourish...

I can't recall where you live exactly, but we have had a lot of rain the last couple days, maybe this will bring in customers for you..:)

I can see how the weather would have an impact on the sale. That's too bad. The weather has been being very kind here lately too. I have a horrible case of spring fever. I have been pretty covered up with work and school lately and have been missing myLot horribly. I am hoping things slow down a little so I can actually enjoy some of the nice weather here..lol.
Take care.

i have a stall in our local church and i sell my hand made jewellery which sells well, i always go and i am in my regular spot each month, the weather has been bad these past few months but it never stops the people coming in to buy, it's an indoor event, but i think the days that they hold these fares are wrong, they do this on a Friday where people are still at work, we have put this across to the committee members many times and it always falls on deaf ears, if they changed it to a Saturday then it would be a lot fuller, people would come in but being a Friday there's hardly anyone in, which is bad for sales, the church is no longer used as a church, it's a grade 2 listed building and is used for other events but not actually a place of worship, they use the money to restore the place, i wish someone would listen and make these events better by changing the days, it would be a great event if this happened

well i will be talking to someone about it because Fridays is not a good day for a craft fare, it's better being held at the weekend so more people have the chance to see what we have for sale

We cannot control the weather, you just have to live with it. Anyway, the weather might be bad today but you might have a good weather the next day. Anyway, all you can do for now is waiting for the weather to get better then everyone will come out again unto your sale.

Well, it is interesting how a lot of the US has been having extremely warm weather while here in the Seattle, WA area we have been still seeing a lot of rain, rain/snow mixed and yes, even snow. It is now the end of March, and we are still seeing this. Problem is it is nice one day, and then cold the next so you never really know what to expect.

How frustrating for the craft sale vendors! Are you selling things at the craft sale?
It is odd when it's goo weather that wrecks your plans, usually nice weather is wanted.

Is there a way that you culd move the craft show to outdoor booths? I can completely undrstand why no one would want to be inside, if theweather is so beautiful outside. I woudln't want to be inside all day if it was that nice. If there were available tables for me to sit outside, I would have when \I went to the cafe.

It's too bad that your craft sale is a bust due to the nice weather.
It's been so nice recently, who wants to be inside? These days are too perfect for going for walks and taking photos. It appears that springtime is definitely here. Unfortunately, if it's this nice now, what are our summer temps going to look like?

Well, I have to admit that I thought that it would have been the opposite that was causing your craft sale to be unsuccessful.
With that said, I do know what you are talking about with the beautiful weather that a lot of people have been experiencing in different parts of the country. For us, last year I never really even needed to have any summer clothes and yet this year we are only a few days into the spring season and I've already broken out the few summer clothes that I do have.

YEs , lately the weather in my country is also causing havoc and headache to business, the morning weather is niec , but the afternoons is freaking hot then they will be the quick or sometime long thunderstorm , causing some flash floods aroudn the country , hence because of the drastic weather chance, people are falling sick with fever, flu and cough.

I am so sorry. I know what a disappointment this must be for you and the other vendors. We are all having an early spring and guess people are sick of being couped up inside. Do a rain dance! Maybe that will send people to the mall to the craft sale. Hope you do well today and tomorrow if you are there all weekend. I did do a craft sale a few years ago and it was outside. All it did was rain. That was a bummer.

Aww, sorry the weather is too nice. Either it's too bad and people won't leave to drive in it, or it's too nice and people find other things to do. It's such a shame. It's kinda chilly here today, so perfect day for a craft sale! I heard it was supposed to be warmer this weekend.

Hope tomorrow is busier.
