I was thinking of a great topic and yet i cant think of anything that didnt actually happened to me or i am interested at the moment.
I said to myself my-lot should be more popular than it already is, i think this is a great avenue for people to spend there time and help others or seek others help through typing some words and seeing it on the monitor.
This site is very helpful and to say the least the money isn't bad either.
How bout you guys do you think that it should be more popular or is the site doing great in its current populous.

Mylot is popular, maybe not for a particular country, but mylot is popular indeed.
As you can see that members here are from different countries, that is enough proof that mylot is known worldwide. Maybe some people are just too busy with social sites and are not interested to earn an extra. Earning sites are popular to people who wants to earn an extra while using the net.

Youve got a point there, i also know that my-lot is popular to many people in the world and that having over 250,000 population is pretty big, but i was just thinking to myself what if my-lot were more popular then it would be helpful to more people because it can be an outlet of people who needs help or just someone to tell what they are doing and again the money is not bad right.
So in my opinion it would be better as a whole if mylot were more popular in that sense.

Yeah i guess, so i keep on saying that my point is so that more people can get help through the discussions and also earn extra cash but i guess it is kinda getting old right anyway thanks for the comment and yepp mylot is nice the way it is. Buta can be better for more people right?

I think I know what you're saying; I wouldn't mind having more active members who will contribute more interesting discussions here either. And new members should always be welcomed since they could potentially replace those who became inactive. We wouldn't want to have less and less active members in the future, would we?

I guess your right there hatley, but i really do just wish that more people can come in and be more active, because i really think that this is a good place to share your thoughts and ideas about a lot of stuff, may it be general in natural or personal.
And not only that we can learn a lot we can also earn a lot so anyway that is just my opinion.

mylot should be more popular for sure it is popular but still many are not aware of it
i always share this amazing site with my friends and whomever i meet online, some of them join and try it and stick to it , and some just are too interested in poking one another in fb. but anyhow we should do our part

That is correct right sajeev?
I mean if a lot more people were here from different parts of the world and wlaks of life I think that we would have more information and appreciations of stuff they can give us a sort of different look into things in comparison to there culture and beliefs in life which will be helpful not to only us but to them to once we share our thoughts to them too.

I think mylot is good as it is. My reason for this is because I air out a lot of personal stuffs here. Stuffs that I can't say on my facebook because to many people would know. Mylot is like my safe house. Hehehe..
I also think the the number of members is not what is important, but rather the quality of the posts they contribute to the site.

Well IF EVER mylot would be more popular the problem would be how to make sure that we get quality posts from new members. Or how we get new members that are hardworking and persistent.

Good point, in my opinion there would be more better contents if more better people were added and are aware of my-lot, we will get more views and more answers to our querries, more points of view and eyes on the situation.
I think that if we wish to be anonymous then we should avoid means of people knowing us we can write anything in here and no one will know who really are if we just avoid means of them detecting us right?

I'm feeling the opposite way. Sorry for my selfishness, but I don't want my friends to discover this site. For me, mylot is my haven, my online diary where I can express my thoughts that I don't want my friends to know. I just want something for my own, without them knowing. I also love the thought that I do not know my friends here personally.

If My-lot is anymore popular then the people we know might know what we share here in my-lot, right.
The privacy is great, the anonymity of who you really are is great but i guess i was just thinking that my-lot could really help more people by what we share here and advise to each other and also of the earnings that can help others that are having a hard time earning through in there regular work.
I was just wondering in that path, but then again we are all entitled to our two cents in right.
I would really hate it if the guys in the hospital could read on me everyday.

Yes, I think mylot is great to be shared to others when it comes to knowledge sharing. The more people know a knowledge, the better. But if we're talking about expressing our rants to this site, I don't think its a good idea to tell this site with people that personally know you.

Mylot has been so popular before I've been here. Since I join mylot so many years ago, population of mylot has reached already the most popular in other site. Until now the population has been increased day by day. Just only like that, we cannot compare it other social networking site because not all people that have join social networking site can join mylot too. Not all has the ability to do what activity we are doing here. I can recommend mylot to most of my friends but I'm not sure if they will like here or if they are interested in writing like me.

Thanks for commenting, yeah your right that not most people are viable to be on my-lot anyway i just hope not for it to be as popular like the social websites but i guess i am just hoping that it can reach more people that can learn and earn from it.
People who needs help in life that can learn from our discussions and our advises and also those people that are willing to spend the time and effort to share there thoughts and earn from our lovely site.

This is a good venture and great platform for online users, and it should have been more popular than now it is.
This is also very useful site for me, in earning and in information.
But Day by Day number of users is increasing, so that is a good sign..

I think otherwise, i think that if more people knew about my-lot then more people would be enlightened.
More people would have great advise form our veteran my lotters here and as well as the new commers, anyway some of the new commers are old enough and wise enough to give wise advise and some of the young one's too.
So i think more would benefit from my-lot if they knew about it.

I think that i would be a good idea if it is. But i doubt that all those people who are new here or going to know about mylot would not really stay here for a long time. Because i think some people don't like to write long comments. I've already told and share mylot sites to my friends, and it seems that they're not really interested. I feel sorry for them, they don't know how cool this site is.

I keep mylot for myself. this is my daily bible wherein I states some personal and confidential issues of my life. Some of my discussions might be sensitive to my friends and my family that might affect them and could cause a negative feedback.

Well good thing we can be anonymous here in mylot right? We can put on a different user name, picture and other stuff so that we are not recognized right, in hundreds of thousands of people reading this impossible of or a direct pinpoint right if we try to make sure we are anonymous in our looks and names except for what we truly feel inside and our stories that we share here.

yeah actually u r right. its a grt platform to share views and observations and for some it is like a diary. its like a stress buster for many and many see this as a platform to reach to some conclusion for any problem. Mylot wud get its share of publicity over a period of time...we all need to work for it..i guess

It would be a good news that Mylot becomes as popular as Facebook.But the fact is that it can never be that popular,because most of the people don't want to take pains to think and write.Mylot expects you to be descriptive.That's not easy.You have to think a lot before you initiate a new discussion,respond to discussions initiated by others and add comments to the responses to your discussions.You have to think deeply to create a quality post.Then you have to type your thoughts.All this is difficult.That's why Mylot is not as popular as it deserves to be.

as Facebook has I think it will change it and we will not have the easy exhange between 'our friends. there would stupid games ant chat room and all would be changed. I like mylot because its different from FaceBook and I love my earnings as they help me to pay my internet bill. lol lol lol

I love my-lot the way it is im just hopeful that one day our discussions will help others and also others can give us more insights that we normally don't see trough our deductions and my-lot can help others with simple finances. In time i know that day will come were my-lot will be bigger and that we will learn more and earn more in the future.

about three years ago, i have this same sentiments. so i asked my friends and posted this discussion "why can't mylot.com be more popular than facebook.com?"
people said, mostly from non-english speaking places, it's the medium of writing that is one hindrance, why people or why less people came to mylot and stay longer. actually, we are popular. we are not just that popular compared to those social networking sites.
but if you really want to learn, and earn at the same time, without wasting your precious time, you are on the right site.
if you would also want to see other peoples reaction on this, you may search for my above-mentioned post. not all people who responded to that will be able to read this post of yours or even if they read this, won't be able to respond or add some more reactions.

I do like Mylot just the way it is. It not only lets me express my opinions and the helpful responses and suggestions that you receive from many. I have met so many people from various parts of the world and it is so interesting to see how and learn how other people live. I think mylot is a great place with is home of a diverse and immense source of many different cultures. I do love this place.

Well i think that my-lot have the guidelines for that and most of the time profanity and really unnecessary stuff are removed by my-lots automated system so regarding keeping some lousy members out are taken cared of by my-lot.
Anyway i just hope that there will be a day that my-lot can offer more help to others by the discussions that we share here and also for the compensation that it brings.
