In life, sometimes it takes a lot to turn things around and sometimes it doesn't

take much. My pillow case kept coming off my pillow. So I turned my pillow around and mow when I rock at night, my pillow case doesn't come off. Too bad everything in life isn't as easy to turn around as a pillow case and make a difference. Most of the time, we have to work really hard to turn our lives around. Have you had something easy, simple, hard, or difficult that you've had to turn around?

That´s a BIG question. I´ll think on it as I go about my work this afternoon.

Yes, I know it is a big one. I think lots of people have really turned their lives around, so this could get quite deep. But some people may just give me a surface answer like the pillow case. So the answers should "run the gammat". Take care as you go about your day.

Having thought about it, the first thing which comes to mind is back when I worked for an employer. I started work with a new company and took over a small desk with only a low turnover. I ´turned the desk around´ by increasing sales, and when I moved on the desk was no longer a desk in a shared office but an office in it´s own right with a number of staff. I don´t think I like the phrase ´turned something around´. It smacks of horrible business meetings!

Sounds like when I took sales of a pet food product from $300 a month to $1,500. Good deal as far as I can tell.

It's not been so easy for me but I can't complain. I have really held on to the "one door closes and the other one opens" saying. It has really helped me hang in there. There are so many people that have had a tougher time than me that it makes me feel almost guilty to dwell on the things in my life that have been tough.

So that's why eventually maybe you can look back on those things as cleaverly turning things around. I think everyone has difficult things to overcome. Apples to oranges, we shouldn't compare to others. Just where each of us started out and where we ended up.

Most of the time I have found that if I just stop trying to fix something, it will fix it's self or the solution will just show up. Maybe it's just looking at something in a different way or someone saying something that is the perfect fix. Whatever it takes as long as I am worrying and fussing around trying to fix it, things just get worse.

That's why I liked the just turn the pillow around, so simple, yet so effective.

Hi writers There have been many such instances when I wanted to turn back the clock. From simpler ones like - helping some friends to complex ones like undoing something which I did because of compulsion. But things dont go easy all the time. The last one which I tried for a while was - People started to take me for granted and I did not appreciate that. Eventually I found a way to convince myself that it is good for me, and I should accept that as I cannot change people. Sometimes this helps and many a times this acceptance of the fact doesnt.

When you can't do it and tell them, they'll understand how important you are. That will turn around quickly. Thanks and take care.
