LIFE of a NURSE..

March 19, 2012 9:39am CST
I am a fresh registered nurse. Yes! I am one of the luckiest people who passed the exam. But what will happen to me after I passed? No available slots in the hospitals, and I dont have any backer so that I can easily enter a hospital and work there. Life of the nurses is really flexible. Can you imagine it? From being a nurse, some turned into a call center agent, teacher, cashier, sales representative, any job you name which is not in line with our job description. We cannot blame them because its not the life that they wanted to have. We really just hope that some people won't discriminate us nurses. Other people will tell us right in front of our face that the best job that would fit us nurses is to be a call center agent..It hurts!

yes, but because of the numbers of new nurses, the hospitals cannot accommodate us all..the government also cannot give us a job..so we are left with no choice..

This is the topic I can relate to. When I finished college, I thought it's the end of my hardship but I was wrong. Infact, it was the beginning. I took the board exam, fortunately I passed, so when I got the result I was too excited to apply as a registered nurse in a tertiary hospital. Yes, I've heard everything about the real system in getting a nurse job but I just ignored them all and continued what I wanted. Reality started to hìt me when I started to feel that we, nurses are too many. Even getting a volunteer job to gain an enough experience is hard too.

. those people doesn't know what hard works we've done just to get our license ,and they don't know that it is really not our choice (to be a call center agent ) . only if given a chance to work in the hospital i know those nurses who works as CSR will apply. just don't give up, just wait for the time that the hospitals will be open for new nurses ..
