Last Sunday I was able to watch the Inside Malacañang that featured in National Geographic Channel. It is about on how they are protecting the President by the Presidential Security Group or PSG. The show helps me to learn and realized something like how our President protected when he eats. They even have taste test first from the officer even the soy sauce and other condiments are being tasted first before it will be cooked. At times Noynoy is already hungry just because he waited for the long time when the food for him is being tasted. Then I also realized that they even have personal photographer that oftentimes his works are being appreciated by the President. He was given an advised by Pete Souzca that flash should not be used because they don’t like it and of course they will be distracted. Noynoy even indicated that he wants his people to smile so that he can identify if that person is easy to approach. I also like how the securities are being trained in case of emergency especially in times that someone would attempt to assassin the President. They are being trained on how to fight and taught them the techniques of Taekwando. No wonder that our President will give respect, special attention and thanksgiving for those people who are working with him especially in terms of security. Were you able to watch the Inside Malacañang of National Geographic? Note: Please no posting about the Presidency of Noynoy because this is just about featuring what is inside the Malacañang. Or else we are already discussing an out of topic.

Hello Metatronik, I have been to Malacanang before, but it wasn't the Main Building itself, probably one of the other buildings. it was back in college that I was active in Student Organizations. it was hard to enter because of the security but i had great view walking through the corridors.

Actually, I was waiting for this documentary for a week. I did watch it and I was fairly impressed. It was good documentary but I was quite repetitive for me and I was hoping to learn some more depth to Malacanang and the people who live in it. The only thing I can say is that even though I focused on the four 'point of views' or characters inside Malacanang. I was expecting more narrative on Malacanang and something more perosnal or perhaps, I am looking for more nostalgic and candid. It was good documentary but I think it could have been improved.
