What do you do to make water interesting?

For the past few weeks I have been trying to drink A LOT of water per day (at least 3 liters!). That has been my goal and so far it feels good, I feel more full and I feel my body temp. start to cool down (as it's starting to get very warm outside). I am proud of myself because I never used to drink as much. My only problem is that I am not getting 'a taste' for water like I know some people have. I need something to fruity-it-up or spice it up a little bit, as water is the most boring taste ever. If you can even call it a 'taste' that is. I have tried putting a little bit of lemon juice into my water.. And that seems to be working good so far. I'm wondering if you have any other ideas for me, to motivate me to continue drinking water? Something that makes it taste a little different / better? How do you take your water? I know certain people can't drink water without Crystal Light or something of that sort in it. But I really don't want to start adding that fake sugar to my water. I don't like things REALLY sweet but I like it to be interesting. What can you suggest to me?! I appreciate your help.. .Happy MyLotting!

I just guzzle it from the jug. Usually I try to cool it off first before I drink from it. There is no style or finesse to what I do. I have even had competitions on who could drink a jug the fastest. The jugs I drink from mostly are between 3 and 4 liters, but two of those in a day. I just make it my goal to try and drink at least one.

I drink water with lemon once in awhile but don't make it a steady habit. I've heard of others using lime or vanilla. I haven't tried either. I do really like Crystal Light and drink it regularly. I buy the pink lemonade and it adds loads of flavor to water. Sorry I can't be a little more inventive with flavoring water by trying to give you good suggestions.

I haven't figured out a way to make water more interesting, but the weather is starting to get hot, and already I have found myself drinking a lot of water (8 liters a day for the past three days). Already, I see this becoming an issue. I'm not the biggest fan of drinking water, but I do like it when I can drink a gallon jug (4 liters) in a short amount of time. It feels like an accomplishment, but it also keeps me cool, and helps keep me mobile when it feels like the joints and muscles are 'lubricated'. But I haven't quite sure how to mix things up a bit with it.

i really think if u add something into water ur changing the real properties of water and as u trying to get frm water u will not get frm it.. so better just boil it for 15 min.. cool it up and drink without thinking abt taste.. try it

I have been trying to drink more water too. I do use the Crystal Light packets. I actually like the generic ones from Walmart, especially the grape flavor. I also use the Arizona tea packets. There are several flavors, plain and Pommegrante. The new Mio liquid water enhancer is also really good. I like it because I can control how much flavor to put in. Dominick's just came out with their own Refreshe brand of the same thing. I like the Raspberry Lemonade best.

i drink a lot of just plain water and it really doesn't bother me but at Christmas, my brother in law put orange slices in the water (you could use lemon or lime too) and that tasted pretty good.

you can buy all types of flavor extracts and add just a few drops to your water. I like to put a slice of lemon in mine. But vanilla also taastes good.

I know what a lot of good spirited people do to make water interesting, they add some good spirits to it. Then their good spirits become better spirits and they make it a habit to be in these spirits to become spirits themselves. Now that you have decoded what I just said, don't do it! read on. You must be drinking packaged bottled water which has nothing, I mean nothing except water. For water to taste good, it needs salts, the natural ones. Spring water is a good choice, so is mineral water. The salts provide some amount of nutrition and balance the Isotonic requirements of the body. Adding flavor to water is good but not nutritious. You may want to think about it once more. For water to be really interesting, working out and working up a thirst is a good way. That will make one appreciate the subtle taste of water through the haze of spice crazed taste buds.

I put a slice of lemon on my glass or any container of water to give some twist on the taste. Just refill it with water whenever empty and change the slice of lemon everyday. Also, another tip is that you must put your water in a place where it can caught your attention, let say, in front of your office table, so you will get motivated to drink everytime you saw it. Another tip, shake your water at least 40 times so you will drink it with ease and you will not urinate every now and then because shaking water will help you retain water in your body.
