Last night before going to sleep, I promised to myself that I will watch a movie. The movie I chose to watched was 'The Omen'. The movie talks about the birth of the Antichrist. It has to be killed because it will brought a big disaster and will end the life of human being. I would like to recommend to you this movie guys. However, I didn't liked the ending of the movie. It is supposed to be killed but then it didn't pushed through. I was left hanging. Have you guys watched it already? Actually, this movie was released on June 06, 2006 at 6:06 in the morning. Isn't it weird and timely? As you can see it is related to 666 or the number of the beast. Share to me guys what you think about this movie and your beliefs when it comes to prophecies and revelations. Thanks!

i think according to biblical prophesies the beast has already been born because the kind of weird things that are happening now has not happened before .in fact according to Mathew chapter 24 everything Christ predicted has happened

For the past 40 years I've heard people say that the antichrist is here but we still really haven't seen him. If you go by strict Biblical prophesy, the Jews still have to rebuild the temple of Solomon before the end times come.

I believe this is such a very debatable topic. We have our own views on it. Many people have gone crazy because of those prophecies. I think we just have to fosu more on our life we have now.

It has stated in the bible that there will be many calamities and drought that humans have to endure because of being indulge to evil things. It is much more stated in the book of Revelation. I think all the things that are happening now are in the bible. What about the movie my friend? Have you watched it?

I dunno if i ever watched the movie but it does sound kinda familiar to me.. haha :D I dun quite believe in prophecies and revelations because i believe the world is unfair.. lol What's supposed to happen will happen will eventually happen. It's all part of nature and we can't do anything. Since we cant do anything, so why bother to trouble ourselves about such prophecies right? Same like us, we are all going to die one day, but we dunno when, so does it mean we ought to stop working, stop school, and enjoy life everyday? Right? haha

kun, I believe God had the prophets write prophecies in the Bible for a reason. They may help you realize that certain claims that "THE END IS NIGH" aren't true.

My friend, please watch this. I am begging you. It is such a nice movie. Whatever we believe, just continue what we have in life. Don't stop dreaming and fighting . Life is beautiful. Prophecies and revelations are just part of our life. Maybe we are confuse whether to believe it or not, what is important is that we have faith in everything we do.

Graptopetalum, I believe everything we do has a reason. It is up to us to engage on some things even if others don't agree with it. Life is uncertain but we should be grateful to have life and to have God.

I don't like horror films and this is one of them. I don't like watching beastly or demonic films. Those are like demonic also, or antichrist the ones who made those films, why did they chose to release the film in 666 format as is? Too creepy...

Yah I did watched this movie long ago and most of movies like that always gives a conclusive ending, that's their style. They let the audience do the conclusion about the ending, or how it would end. Try watching "The Separation" and "Flowers of War" those are good movies and both won awards for Asian Film Festival 2011.

Hello Angel Gee! Thanks for the movies you have recommended for me. Actually I already ran out of movies to watch. I have many but the external hard drive is with my boyfriend and there are no movies saved here in my laptop. Surely I will download a copy of those movies. Yes, audience tends the one who will decide how to end the movie. But from the looks of it, it seems that evil will still spread base on how the movie ended. Skeptical though.

Well I haven't watched this movie YET. But regarding my views on prophecies and revelation I would have to say that it fascinates me a LOT but I am not really sure whether to believe it or dismiss it 100%. Sometimes I believe and sometimes I don't. It's hard to believe right away these days due to the advent of scams,a million coincidences, and good computer effects. In the end it doesn't really matter if prophecies and revelations are true. It all comes down to what we want to believe.

Oh, if you haven't watched it yet then I suggest you see the movie my friend. I think you just have to wait whether if it is true or not. But what if these things are true? It might be better if we ready ourselves. I am not trying to scare you but it is better to be like this. I maybe moved because of the movie but somehow there are already many indications. Thanks a lot!

flapiz, I believe there are prophecies in the Bible for a reason so there must be some potential to get into trouble if you don't believe them or wrongly interpret them.

You are right Graptopetalum. But anyway, it is his own beliefs. We all have our own choice whether to believe things or not. We are free to do so. It depends on us. There is nothing wrong if we don't believe neither if we believe. It is a matter of how you are going to live your life.

I’ve watched it, it supposed to be killed but it didn’t push through. The ending can’t breathe you freely. Number 666 are said to be bad luck. Bad omen are difficult to stop because you don’t know what is going to happen next. In biblical prophecy, someone is strongly believed that a particular thing will happen. In divine revelation, it is a sign from God about his nature or purpose.

Thanks for watching the movie. What did you think about the movie? Was it scary or not? I was shocked with the ending because the boy appeared. I feel so sorry because all the plan to kill the child failed. But the movie was great which made the movie controversial.

This is a re-make of the 1976 movie. A separate novel was also issued. The 1976 movie was followed by Damien: Omen II (1978), and Omen III: The Final Conflict (1981), theatrical movies. There was also a TV movie Omen IV: The Awakening released in 1991. In addition to initial book there were 4 other books written in the series. I have never seen any of the movies or read the books. To me and my taste, I have trouble with movies that give powers to demons that seem to be greater than God's. While the Omen is based on the Book of Revelations from the Bible, it is still fiction. We have had a number of predictions as to when the antichrist may be coming and who he might be, but no one will really know until he's finally here.

Yes, the movie The Omen is a pentalogy! Thanks for enumerating it here. The only version I watch is the 2006 movie. I don't want to watch the other want because of time restrained. You don't have to be troubled in it my friend. It is just for entertainment. It is up to you if you insert your own beliefs and hope for things to get better. Faith to God is still the most important thing. Just don't lose that faith.

Yes, I am referring to the movie wherein Liev Schreiber is the main character. I am sorry to say but I feel bored watching the other "The Omen" movies which was released before this movie. Maybe because of the scenery just like you have said. Thank you so much for taking part in my discussion.
