I feel bad for the President... Since many people think he is not doing anything... Just because people don't see him working doesn't mean that he isn't- he's just not so showy... I really don't like the Filipinos that are always complaining- being apart of the problem instead of doing something productive. I have also noticed how rallies have become more violent and they even destroy public property now. I hope they would have more peaceful rallies since violence begets violence.

The problem is people tend to think that politicians will do everything for them. You can blame this to the extravagant promises during elections.
I was about to make the same discussion when I go online today. I really hate how Filipinos blame every little misery of their life to others. It's like we haven't gone through 333 years under Spanish rule, several years over Japanese occupation and about 20 years of Marcos Regime.
Wake up people! Adults must act like adults. You're called an adult for a reason, and that is being able to withstand challenges and solve them efficiently.
Do not expect a single person feed 90 million people in an instant.

Our politicians are not mature no matter how intelligent they are. probably few only have wisdom and compassion to others.

I somehow agree with your views in in here. I think we cannot blame everything with the government. We somehow is part and parcel of the problem. The problem lies on the fingerpointing attitude we have always saying that it's not me it's them.
We may blame an incompetent government but if we look at ourselves, are we following the simple rules like traffic rules, paying of taxes, and every simple acts that we have to abide with.

@LetranKnight25 oh...I overlooked on that matter.
@rsa101 exactly my point. Blaming others for your miseries without thinking what have you done to prevent that misery is soooo uncool.

Totally agreed back there, but let’s understand that these people wanted change but yet they do nothing about it. I do believe that if you’re hungry, learn how to catch fish, and don’t wait for the fish to jump into your plate in order to have a meal. For some, they are going to rally for the sake of money.

Hello lady, I still think for me that Noynoy was never right President to begin with, right now i don't really feel much burden of regret like the others do because I knew whom i vote could have saved the country and Noynoy isn't the one. right now, it's a whole mess that important issues are not addressed because of politics. as for the militant rallies, with the more often increase of oil prices more rampant now than ever before, i think they have the right to go off like that.

I agree with you LetranKnight. Pnoy was not really president material and he was not really prepared for the position. He was never included among the presidentiables but the yellow movement gave him the big push to run for the presidency. Assuming that he is honest and wants to get rid of corruption, is it enough to put us on the right track? Many of those he appointed were kabarkadas, kabarilans and kaklase inc. How are they doing right now? They are making mockeries of their positions with one being caught on video buying fake DVD's and the other not even knowing how to do a proper search of properties. While its true that the rising costs of fuel is global in nature, it does not mean that no steps can be taken to alleviate the rising prices. Pnoy followers hate the term Noynoying but it is a wake up call. It shows the people's disappointment. It is almost 2 years and the I guess the honeymoon period is over since people are back in the streets.

I would like to make some observation. Provided that President Noynoy Aquino is not or was never right President, since that our countrymen voted for him to be the president of our country, we should respect the decision of the majority. If we are looking for a perfect president, I don't think we can find it. Since the situation is there, maybe we can help through our own little ways to address the problems of our country instead of complaining and making fun of the situation. The more we complain about things, the more we create problems. This kind of actuation from our fellowmen, is being showed to the whole world which, I think is not a very good image for the entire country. These humiliating of acts will bring not only the President, but all of us into shame and embarrassment.

I would not agree to that idea. If we want this country fixed, we must have a leader who possesses the concrete political will - not some person who says "justice shall be done" or anything similar.
In the bottom line, it's still the people who's at fault.

I wish the finger pointing would go away! At first it seemed like the politicians were going to act like adults. For problems to be fixed we need a united front. Just ask any divorced couple, raising kids and doing it the right way! Unfortunately that fell apart pretty quickly. We've got millions out of work and politicians fighting over who created this mess. WHAT?
