Do you ever feel you are parnoid about health problems

I think that I feel this way often. Since I've been working at home more lately on the computer I'm often worried that I'm sitting at the computer too long and that I will get some type of blood clot. It can be nerve wrecking to worry about all types of health problems. And since I don't have health insurance it makes it worse because I can't go to the regular doctor and ask.

Sometimes I do too. I don't have health insurance right now so I'm basically waiting for something big to happen. I had an in-grown hair and I thought it was cancer after Web MD'ing it. Web MD or any kind of cyber symptom website makes me really paranoid. *sigh*. So I know the feeling about not having insurance.

I know what you mean. I'm often paranoid after reading all kinds of things online. I'm hoping that sometime in the near future we will be able to get it. My husband mentioned it a few days ago which was great. Since his job does offer it it would be a great thing for us to do. About two years ago he was offered the insurance plan but he didn't want to get it then because he didn't want to pay for it. But as we are getting older he knows we need to get it before anything happens that could be considered a preexisting condition. So I will feel better when we have it.

hi,hi, i think its a really review for a disease and thats good lines, I feel that sometimes, yes i mean now a days with all the chemicals in the air, food, water, cloths, shampoo, and everything is filled with chimecials you have to be paranoid, but of course not to the limit that will affect your life and make you crazy about everything you eat for example, I just wish technology is not that much in life so we live the nature and eat the nature and play in the nature, instead of those chemicals all around, even you watch chemicals when you watch tv. and use internet and use laptops and so on, maybe tomorrow there will be chemciacal is in the kids toys, i think yea why not as long as it will bring money to the companie

I agree there are so many chemicals everywhere. They are even putting a lot of them and hormones in our food. It's no wonder that young people are growing and maturing faster. I agree with you it would be so much better if we are able just to enjoy the natural environment around us and the food that it produces. We would be a lot healthier I'm sure.

I do get paranoid about it but with good reason. Sitting at the computer for hours on end is what ended up making me huge. I didn't realize it at the time because I was battling severe depression but I ended up making myself way worse off than I was to start with. When you don't have insurance that makes it even more scarey. What I've started doing is setting myself some time limits on the computer. I get on for a few hours in the morning to do what I need to do, then go do some housework and if the weather permits I do a short 10 minute walk or so. In the evening I get back on sometimes for an hour sometimes for many hours it all depends on how I feel but the initial morning time is important to limit for me otherwise I get nothing done all day. My health suffered big time as a result of my not being paranoid about it before. I know now though that I'm getting in the right track and as long as I keep at it my health will improve. It just takes time. One thing you can do is remind yourself to get up every half hour to an hour and just walk around the house a bit. Also make sure to drink plenty of water ( that one is difficult for me ) the water keeps your blood thinner and circulating better which helps avoid clots. Hey feel free to inbox me anytime if you need to chat or whatever. :)

I'm glad to hear that your getting back on track. And also glad to hear that it is a good thing for me to be more conscious about my time sitting at the computer. It is very scary when we don't have health insurance and we are facing health problems. That's why I try and remind myself that damaging my health to earn some extra money online (since it takes so long for me to earn anything) isn't worth it. Because If I start to have health problems then I will end up having to pay out a ton of money. I like the way you have scheduled things. With the weather soon to be getting nicer I'm planning to set more goals. I think that when I'm out of the house it's easier for me to be off the computer. So I will try and go out on the deck with my daughter in the early mornings before it gets to hot. We can walk to the library as well. And go to the grocery store. If we do this a few times a week that should help me a great deal. Thanks so much for your advice. I really appreciate it.
