a pleasant day dear fellow mylotters, well, now a days, we cannot deny the fact that there are a lot of ways to be destructed. i mean, someone is prone to be destructed easily by the things which surrounds him/her. as a consequence, the idea which he/she is thinking, easily gets away if a destruction comes along. hence, this also applies if you are into writing, hence, your idea must be jot down so you can able to save it or else it will just pass away. another thing, if you are having and encountering a lot of thinking in your head, it is really better to write down those important things before it slips away on your mind. otherwise, you will just end up in regretting when you have forgotten it. indeed, just to make sure, better to write down the ideas before it slips away from your head.

Oh yes. Your statement is very correct and very true. I have already experienced that. I set up a plan in my mind, without writing anything on a notepad or on MS word, and because I have many things in my mind, I always forgotten to do things that I must do. He he, and so, from now on, I jot down all the things I want to do and all the time schedule on a notepad, so that I would not forget.

You're right...even though I would still just want to use my brain to take note of everything. It can't really be helped that we tend to forget something because we lack focus and we easily get distracted by almost everything. Sometimes I get jealous of how our ancestors did remember everything in the past when the writing materials were still not yet created... Still, tell you what, I'd rather continue to practice using my brain as my primary storage of memory... even though I still continuously forget something, I don't think there's any harm in trying to continue practicing to be better. And besides, I found that one don't really forget anything once that it is already stored...we just misplaced the memory temporarily...

you are right. it is smart to write things down which is why i carry a notebook. my dad kept a journal and he passed away a couple of years ago and so that is a good memoryof him.

hi airasheila. first off, i think the correct word that you are suppose to use in your discussion is not 'destructed' but 'distracted'. anyway, going back to your point, i do agree that one gets easily distracted by what is happening around so it is better if we write down our thoughts so we will not forget these thoughts. this has been a practice of mine especially if i think of topics to wirte about here in mylot. i will be the first to admit that i seldom start my own discussions but i have dozens and dozens of ideas for discussions. now, i do not carry a pen and a notebook all the time (although that is a good idea) but i do write down my ideas in my celphone as draft messages. it is usually three to four sentences and from this initial 'draft' i then formulate what i write down here in mylot. like i said earlier, i seldom start discussions of my own here in mylot and i do hope i can start writing down the thoughts and ideas i have saved in my celphone. cheers!!!

You are on the right track. Yes, it is a good idea to write down ideas that way, you don't forget them. There are times, I have a ton of them whizzing around in my head and if I don't catch them, it makes me upset. So, I keep a notebook and pen handy to jot down ideas on a regular basis. It is very helpful.
