Are you still with Factoidz/Knoji?

I personally liked the layout of factoidz compared to the new one. There are too many things happening per page. If that's what's good for the site, I'd gladly accept that.

yes, those you mention are true, as the factoidz management changes it site name and layout. i like the name factoidz from knoji which have a hard time remembering it and pronouncing. though, the site name get shorten. it lost its appeal to me. they change the site name abruptly without consulting its writers. so the admin s so selfish to let other know about his plan. o there is no consultation that happen, where s democracy there? I see none knoji is the same authoritarian management...

I'm going to wait it out for awhile. There are other things afoot that may or may not be good for revenue, but I think the owner is trying to make it profitable for all. We shall see.

i wrote there while it was still Factoidz. Now, haven't written anything. unfortunately, they don't accept my paypal account because its not an individual account.. i don't even know what that means. I would be willing to stick to factoidz. i think its a great exposure and it will still be fun! :)

The change is far too recent to tell whether it will be a good thing or a bad thing. I'm willing to wait and giving Factoidz/Knoji some time to get all the problems worked out before making my decision. I have seen an increase in my number of views for certain articles, but it's a very small increase which is probably just due to coincidence more than anything else. I will continue to write for them, and if the site appears to be just as good as it used to be, I'll stay with them. If it's gone bad, or been broken in some way, I'll quit and find somewhere else.

Hi I also write there. I was not too frequent but became active recently and promoted to staff writer only to find that changed so suddenly. The revenue share is very low compared to expertscolumn. The new system of being rated by question and answers is going to be a problem though, because when we write answers we are getting less percentage of votes and many people just don't bother to vote at all. I have not published any article after the change, waiting for a few days for knoji to become stable.

I am not a member and don't write for them but with the new development and changes, all I hope is that it wouldn't affect their payment rates and user-ability of the site. Hope they still continue to be a very good site overall.
