This film was amazing. I really liked this movie. with 300 soldiers they defeat thousands of enemies. great, great war tactics, a formidable warrior, the king of soul leaders. spartan is the best.
they were able to fight against thousands of enemies. 300 spartan warriors, the auxiliary soldiers from arkadian.
they are really great, but, if the story they really exist?
and whether they are really the greatest at that time?

You can find the info you want on wikipedia just search for the Battle of Thermopylae. There is even a textbox with the total numbers on both sides (the Greeks had a total of 7400 soldiers, Including 300 from Leonidas, the Persians were around 2.6 million soldiers) the winners of the battle were the Persians but at a great cost in numbers. It is said that this battle was one of the main reasons Persians haven't won against Greeks at the end.

Yes it was a incredible movie with the effects it was a great movie as it took us to that period of time.To imagine that only 300 Spartans have defeated thousands of enemies is great to hear and i do think it is a true story,it's just that with some modifications they have shown it in the movie.The Spartans at that time were the greatest.
