Some of the tags people submit are HILARIOUS

Do you ever stop and read the tags that people add to describe your discussion, after they respond to it? I am horrible at tagging, rarely do I out of laziness, but I always read to see what people come up with for tags. Tags are essentially keywords to describe the discussion, so that when searching for a discussion about [blank], you can find that particular discussion or any others that are tagged with that word. Am I right? I was responding to some responses on one of my discussions, which was of course ranting about my mom's useless, leech of a boyfriend. (Aren't I always complaining? ). Anyway, I happened to notice that someone tagged the discussion as "He is not a man he is a bum". I cracked up after reading this. (I wish I knew who submitted it, I would like to find them and give them a high-five). I agree that it was true and appropriate given the nature of the discussion, but it's not exactly the correct way to tag an item, is it? You know, just in case people are searching for discussions relating to he is a bum not a man (as I'm sure that's so popular. . Anyway, this discussion is in no way to call out anyone or say what they are doing is wrong, I just saw that, and a few other similar kinds of random tags, and it kind of cracked me up to wonder who was writing it and why. Have you ever seen any funny tags like that on one of your discussions before?

I have seen more hilarious tags as of late, or at the very least cute. In the past they seemed to be just inappropriate. I've seen way too many of them to be honest. Yes, there seems to be more tags that are kind of longer, and not really a tag, but a statement. Haha, mylot should add a "statement" section so as to be able to "sum up" a tag, well that made no sense.

I haven“t seen such a funny tag, but what I have seen are tags that tell a whole story. There are mylotters who write about a flower in their garden and the will tag something like "the beautiful rose shrub that blossomed today at my garden". WOW!!! I sort of seek tags as what I would use to search online (rose, garden).

LOL yes - and I'm pretty sure that is the purpose of tags. So if you were searching for discussions about FLOWERS as a keyword, you would run across your discussion. For some reason I highly doubt anyone is out there using the search terms "The beautiful rose shrub...etc". lol. Oh well!

Hi maezee, nowadays I could see every discussion I have participated in having their tags respectively. And are related to the content of the posts. so don't have the chance to tag any. Before yeah, it's years before many of us tended to forget to summit tags before posting a new discussion. I did notice that certain tags added by responders didn't related to the post at all, but hadn't seen any hilarious one. It must be fun if seeing any such keywords if browsing along here Happy posting

hi maezee I have not seen any on mine that w ere really funny, but several I reported because they were insulting and did not belong there. I feel if a person is to cowardly to tell you they disaqgree but feel safe to write a nasty tag its time to report that. f unny is okay ,but insulting is out and I will r eport it from now on.

I've never really looked at tags for my discussions before. Until now. I just went through some of my recent (with activity) discussions and I did find a funny one. It was my discussion about 'being difficult', and I saw a tag 'but you must obey rules'. What a long one!
